My Weight Loss Journey Again!

Hello Everyone!

I am starting my weight loss journey again tomorrow. I have managed in the past to get to about 13 stone I have now allowed myself to get over the 20 stone mark and I could just cry. This is due to a number of things but mainly being ignorant and ignoring the number on the scales going up up and up.

So as of tomorrow I am starting Slimfast and I am going to try and walk my 10,000 steps a day. I have an office job and also study in the evenings so some days do not even manage to get to 5000 steps, which is just not good enough!

I am going on holiday on the 18th October and am even considering not going if I have not lost some weight as I will just be uncomfortable and miserable.

I hope know one minds but I have decided to post in this forum on this thread when I am struggling/have good moments/weigh in weekly. I feel having physical evidence and a trail of how I am getting on will really help me stay on track (and maybe even some others).

Wishing everyone luck with their own weight loss and heres to a positive start to the week. :)

Thank You

Rippon

Well done Rippon :bravo:

7lbs in one week is incredible. You must be feeling so motivated right now :carrot:

So my 2nd week weigh in was on Monday and I only lost 1lb :( but it was my totm, so Im hoping for a better loss this week.

So far I have not had any really bad days, which i think is down to the fact that I feel so focused at the moment. I am sure one will rear its ugly head soon!

Hope everyone is getting on ok :)

xx

I hope it goes well for you.

We all have to start somewhere. I started off at 16st5 and I think I am about 10st7 at the moment. I am on a programme that bans weighing for 30 days and I am on day 25 so who knows how much I am right now :)

But as long as you start eating healthy you'll go a long way. I found with myself it was feeling healthy and not the number on the scales that mattered. Of course the 70+pound weight loss is nice too :)

Hello

How is everyone getting on?

Sammy - Did you have your 30 day weigh?

I am currently on a lose of 12lbs, so I have finally seen the next stone, woo!
I am now 19 stone 13lbs, so not great but at least it is going in the right direction :)

Still feeling fairly motivated so not had too many bad days, lets hope this continues and I can see the next number for my holiday in October!

xx

Yes I did and it wasn't what I wanted :) I was quite shocked with how bad it was. Over the 30 days I lost just 5 pounds, then had a binge and put most of it back on and now I am back with it and feeling determined.

But even though people do lose 10-20 pounds in 30 days they often have a lot of weight to lose and I am now with a BMI of around 23 so I am finding it hard to lose especially with all the exercise I am doing.

I am wondering if I am building up some muscle?

I really like the idea of only weighing every 30 days! I am doing weekly at the moment but having only seen a pound loss last week, a part of me felt like I should have waited a bit longer to weigh! Hard to know though because it may send me the wrong way in that I think 'oh weigh in isn't for 4 weeks I can have this treat now and it wont show up on the scales!' - my logic is a bit off sometimes!! :?:
