Thanks!

3 miles run last night, and I ate a huge salad for lunch :) How's it going all?

LOL yes, I've read about the insane amount of rain. I'm pretty sure my state here in NC has been trying to prep us for that weather since August, we've never had so much rain in the 37 yrs I have lived here lol. Our rivers are so close to flooding and they aren't small rivers lol. We'll be living in Colchester, so not too far from Wales. I actually have a friend in Wales lol. So if a stone is 14 lbs, I have about 2 stones to lose before I'm moderately happy, then another 2 before I'm close to my goal weight! Anyway! I look forward to joining all of you in our little weight loss adventure. I'm not down lbs yet, but inches have started coming off with a lot of hard work this last week lol!

Hi Mom,

How are you getting those inches off?

I've been consistent with running and doing ok with diet - this week I'm committed to staying focused and consistent :)

Hi All,

I am in!

After a ridiculously indulgent Christmas I decided that I was going to make 2016 the year I lose weight for good. I have always yo-yo'd, lost 50lbs+ at a time but then have never been able to maintain.

This year I'd like to lose 100lbs, currently not doing anything more arduous as moving more and eating less. I am a huge emotional eater so I need to work on getting this under control if I have any chance to succeed.

Well done to those of you who have already started losing. I do believe the first step is the hardest hurdle.

I started the program 21 day fix, which works with both diet and exercise. It's not for the faint of heart I'll tell you that lol. But it's definitely been worth it to see any results since before it, I had nothing but gains, and not in the good way lol. I started the plan and then have been exercising with the included videos 5 out of 7 days, I just can't bring myself to workout on the weekends, and it's shown improvement! It's a program here in the US, but I'm sure they have it over there too, if not I can give you tips and pointers from my Pinterest page lol! Best of luck on the consistency! Mine is getting those workouts done in the morning before I can make an excuse not to!

Hi Mom- I'm in the US too - I keep hearing about the 21 day fix. How great that it's working for you! I too have bounced around trying to find something that works for the long term. I know what it is after all this time (low carb, medium fat, high protein) and now it's time to do it!

The good thing about me is despite the fact that I gain fat quickly, I also gain muscle quickly. So going back to the gym will make things go faster, I believe (in body changes if not on the scale itself).

I have my meals for the workday with me, and I feel good about sticking to my eating plan (which is the hardest thing for me!) so now I need to figure out how to plan exercise (including strength) into my days.

dcapulet. I had a hard time with it when I first ordered it. I just wasn't willing to make all the changes to the foods I was eating( changing to whole wheat pastas, breads and using coconut oil and olive oils for cooking, I LOVE my butter lol) once I got used to those, and had a period where we couldn't afford fast food anymore, plus the added bonus of gaining 15 lbs since September, I started to take it seriously. I still haven't dropped lbs yet, but it's becoming quite visible that I've toned up tremendously. My goal for now is to get at least slim enough by the time we move ( mid spring) to England to at least be able to fit into my sz 10 pants. Smaller would be great but unrealistic since it took me years to put on all this weight, it's going to take a minute to get it back off! Don't want to start my life in a new country looking all flubby and stuff lol. Best of luck to you and congrats on your engagement! I've been lucky to be married to the best guy ever ( for me of course) for the last 15 years!

Hi brainy bunny

I'm with you!

I seriously need to shift 56 pounds for the sakes of my health and my sanity.

You're not on your own.

Fraz :)
