  • Hang in there. I just started this latest journey at the very end of December. My first week, I lost a pound, then promptly gained 3 pounds for a net of a two pound gain after making what I considered to be massive sacrifices (that may be part of my problem.......I don't think I'm supposed to think of eating healthy as making a sacrifice! ).

But as my body adjusted to the new eating regimen and as I figured out how many calories and carbs I could have, the weight has started coming off. And, like you, I've tried every diet known to mankind. This time I'm trying intermittent fasting, eating the 8 "power foods" but strictly watching my calories and carbs. I have to watch both or else I gain weight.

Hang in there. Just coming here for support has been a wonderful way to start. As you can tell from the responses, there are a lot of us in the same boat.
  • Sharon...where are you?! Hope all is well and on track...
  • No takeaways, crisps or chocolate? Exercising every day? You are totally a winner.

BTW - I'm soooo glad your scales didn't weigh you higher - as you're right they do vary.
