figure points

now that they are not using fat, fiber and calories to figure out points, how do you figure out how much something is worth.

If you're referring to WW Propoints (you haven't mentioned whether you are) the calculation is based upon protein, carbohydrate, fat and fibre - so in fact it includes two of the things you mentioned. You can't do it as a mental calculation any more which no doubts benefits Weightwatchers as a business. Apparently people in meetings get given a wheel made out of card to work out points but it's probably easiest to just buy one of their calculators. Whether the same plan under another name will come out in the US I don't know.

yes I am talking about the propoints. I guess I can throw my old calculator away. We start the diet the end of the month. I assume it should be the same. Maybe a different name. I will have to find out.

I seem to remember hearing the US version might be called PointsPlus but I could be wrong there. It might still be the same plan anyway. We haven't had the same plan as the US, at least not since I've been a member but then we weren't on the same as the rest of Europe before, and now we are.

I'm still doing the old plan by choice though, so I don't have personal experience of it yet. This is just based on what I see on the UK WW board.

I thought we had the same plan. did not know yours was always different. Now I really have to wait until the end of the month. I was getting so excited.
