Well Delaney how is little madam - Sprog #1. They know it all don't they? Boys can be just as bad. My nephew has his moments... Why is it they cannot understand the adults know things they don't?
One minute they expect you to know exactly how many worms are in the garden and in the next - you don't know anything!

Steven started as soon as I picked him up this afternoon. Whining about going swimming and that he would be good, if I took him. In the 2 minute journey from the childminders to home, he degenerated in to great big sobbing tears and wailing, all because he wasn't getting his own way. So once in I put him straight in his room, took a while for him to calm down, but finally he realised he was getting no attention. Told him I had had enough and if he keeps behaving like this he will be spending a lot of time in his room. I am not willing to take him anywhere when he is behaving like that.
So now he is curled up on the couch watching star wars being a little angel - wonder how long it will last ?
Eating has been really good. No exercise again. We have had a horrible day weather wise. Walked out to the car park, under a minute out of the office, and got absolutely soaked. The rain was coming down like there was no tomorrow.
If Ray isn't working at the weekend, then we'll be putting wooden flooring down in the livingroom, think I'll tempt fate tonight and start to move some of the stuff through to my room, out of the way
need to go make something for us all to eat - not sure what I fancy tonight
Peacock I am so proud of you - I would just take the paper off and eat them. the rodent in this house isn't as well house trained as the one in yours. I always by the choccies at the last minute

Dinner tonight was and I feel that I have had a fairly successful week. Tonight it was;scallops, peppers, mushrooms and sweetcorn all stirfried together with ready boiled white rice, with some sweet'n chilli sauce. I have not done desert yey...usually fruit of yoghurt.
I am going to try and send an attachment of Holly, my Westie.....let me see now......

Sorry not been around for a couple of days but it's been hectic here.
Been shopping to Nottingham today and bought the most gorgeous New Years Eve outfit it's a satin burgundy bustier with organza blouse to go over the top and black trousers - it's to die for - had it on for most of the night - much to DH's delight (the less said about that the better!) The best thing is that the top part is a size 22 and the bottom half is 20, I know for lots of people that's still huge but to me its fantastic (I was size 28 earlier this year). DEAD CHUFFED!!
Carol - keep up the good work with the kids you have to show them whose boss - I have terrible trouble with Sprog #2 she's a very willful child and has taken to hitting and kicking if she doesn't get her way - well I can tell you neither me or her father are standing for it and last night Dave sent her to bed - we were sitting eating dinner and she just started shouting and when I told her to eat her dinner and quieten down she hit her sister!! (nice child!!)
Friends coming over tonight - I am sticking to the diet coke and we're having Sainsbury's low fat curries (haven't told them yet, he he).
I am going to order some size 20 trousers from Next Directory now - they won't fit for a couple of weeks but I'm going to keep them hanging up in the kitchen to spur me on...
Have a good night everyone.

Come on Veggie - please come out and play
Teel - Holly is cute. I would like a dog, but we are all out of the house from 8:40ish until 5, so it wouldn't be fair on it.
Delaney - well done on the trousers. I brought a pair of size 22's out of Evans in October. Thought they looked super glamourous at the time, but now I have noticed the material is hanging as it shouldn't under my stomach, just a flap with no me inside it. And when I hang my phone on them at work they sag to what ever side I have the phone on = where did all that extra material come from.
Am wearing them to work at least 2 times a week now, will buy a new pair once I reach 15 and a half stones, but I need to get my moneys worth out of these. I will need something new for Christmas too, I brought a nice blouse for the wedding which will do, but not sure about the rest of me. Am only going to friends so might wear a work skirt, which is also getting a bit big around the waist. Long time to go before it is too big round my hips though
Been for my weekly swim. Managed 26 lengths or it may have been 28. I lost count between 5 and 7, yes I know the missing number is 6, but wasn't sure if I had done 5 or 7, so I took the lower number so I didn't cheat myself.
Going to weigh in tomorrow morning. I am expecting to gain, just feel that way about it. Haven't been that good. Will miss my own WW class again next week, as the school is having 2 in-service days and I have managed to get the days of as well. There is a local class at 10 on a Tuesday morning, if we are all up and organised by then, I'll go to that one
Am having a glass of cider - on points, probably shouldn't the night before a weigh in but I have to be honest to myself. It has been a cr@p week at work, so here's to a great few days off.
Need to book tickets to Harry Potter in the morning, hoping to go on Monday.

In a strange mood, am back at 16 stone, have only slipped a little bit, but back there I am. I did say I would never go over it again, so I need to get my act back together. Have actually been back on plan since Wednesday, only slipped a little bit, did drink more than I should which is probably a lot ot do with it.
Was thinking last night while swimming up and down the pool, that this weight loss business is hard work. It isn't going to just fall off by itself because I want it too. If only it was that easy.
The swimming was hard, that was what got me thinking like that !
I need to go find a happy pill. Have had a bad day with Steven, 3 times today he has wound me up like a coiled spring. I am not reacting, but am talking to him, taking things off him, lack of computers and videos, being big punishement and have even put in hi sroom until I can face being with him (can I admit that without the social workers coming round). Yet again he is being a little angel, but we all know it isn't going to last - have no idea where all this sudden behaviour problem has come from, he has never been an angel before, but now he is down right horrid !!!!!!
Well suppose that sums me up - am having an indian takeaway for dinner - can I admit that on a healthy eating site - I only have enough points for half of it - there is no way half of it will go into the fridge for tomorrow, or even the bin.
Tomorrow I promise to be back on form - I have to be
Booked the tickets for Harry Potter - we're off to se it on Monday evening (teachers in service days here so we are all off - thought it might be quieter than the weekend and during the day on school holidays)
Night

Morning, how is everyone doing. I am trying to put on a positive attitude. Once saw a presentation by Ann Gruber (I think) about how it is all about the way you tell yourself you feel. Ten minutes ago I felt a bit down and listless. Now I am telling myself I am on top of the world, full of energy and very positive about everything. Will let you know later if it works.
Have booked Harry Potter - version 1 - was that the Philsophers Stone, through Sky for this evening, we see the new one tomorrow night. So need to have this day and house all organised, so I can sit down with the boys and curl up on the couch and watch it with them
Have already sent Steven to his room, this morning and we have only been up an hour - but I am positive about it honest !!!!!!

Sal - I know what you feel like when you say you've slipped back up to 16 again - I slipped back up to 16.2 this morning!! Mad at myself but I've only got myself to blame - I pigged out big time on Thursday night on a roast chicken dinner and mash and then yesterday we went to MIL's and ate for England!!! Never mind I am full of motivation now like you and I'm going to gym/swim tonight and tomorrow I'm at my new Jazz class and with a trip to gym/swim on Wed morning hopefully I'll be ok for weigh in on Wed night!!
I sympathise with the kids issue - Sprog #1 was in a sulky mood all day yesterday it was all I could do not scream at her. Sprog #2 was having tantrums all day too - no idea why!! They were driving me crazy.
I hope you enjoy the Harry Potter film - let us know what you think - I'm desperate to see it but Sprog #1 is 7 and the 1st one really scared her and from reading the book the 2nd one is darker so Dave and I will have to go and see it first but we're busy every night for the next couple of weeks!
Got to go and get Sprog #1 ready for a birthday party now which is the other side of Leicester. I really should be getting the housework done not galavanting round after a petulant 7 year old!
Wow I'm in a right old mood arn't I??

Hello from Teel
It is a grey damp day in Suffolk but Holly and I have just put our wellies and done our 20minute walk. The birds are singing but I'm sure I don't know what about!
I am sending you girls some packets of healthy motivation...
as I am sorry you are having a difficult time.
Smiling, I hope you enjoy Harry Potter films.I read books 1 & 2 before watching the video of number 1.I think the film would be quite scary for a youngster as reading the book allows the imagination run wild.....
I hope Stephen settles down a bit....a lot!Just a thought, is he happy at school? Please feel free to tell me to butt out..just trying to be of some use.
Delaney you are not allowed to lose heart, either! You have both done fabuloso and there are a few stiles to get over just now...oh deary me...what am I twittering on about?

Steven is happy at school, according to his teacher he is an angel in the classroom and if she does have to give him a telling off, she only has to say it once and he is behaving.
Am putting it down to a combination of getting all the mischief out of his system, can't be an angel 24 hours a day and just pushing his luck to see how ar he can push me.
Am being an angel myself - so far today. Have just made some no point veg soup for dinner, well part of it anyway. Whole house now stinks of onions

Well done Carol - keep up the good work. It's good that Steven is happy at school - you'd rather him be naughty at home and good at school wouldn't you? I don't know what I'd do if a teacher told me either of mine were naughty - mind you, Sprog #2 (also known as Suburban Guerilla) hasn't started school yet!
I'm up here out the way of the fridge! Had 25.5 points (26 is my allowance) for today and going to the gym in an hour - not particularly looking forward to it tonight - I've got that Sunday night feeling, it usually starts with the 'antiques roadshow' music but has come early tonight...
