Starting from the begining

Our daughter passed away suddenly and it was a dreadful shock. She had epilepsy and we had cared for her for 32 years. It has been a bitter, bitter blow and some people deal with this sort of thing by not eating, I'm afraid I comfort ate.
I know there are so many lovely people on this forum and I will get a wonderful support as I start over.
Hubby and I are having good days and bad days. Yesterday was a bad one and today is a fairly good one. I'm not going to starve myself, I have too much emotional baggage at the moment, so it's just a case of eating healthily and sensibly.
I shall weigh on a Sunday morning.
Wish me luck.
Dinky.

 I'm SO sorry for what you've been through. I cannot even begin to imagine it. At least you have your husband for love and support. It's amazing that you have the strength to restart your healthy lifestyle in the midst of it all. I wish you all the best and know that you will, once again, find lots of support here.

You'll be in my thoughts!

So sorry to hear of your loss Dinky, you seem to be coping amazingly well in the circumstances.

Good luck and I'm thinking of you.

Thank you very much. It isn't easy, the first week we were numb, just cold from the inside out and when that wore off, there was what only can be described as an acute physical pain. This is something we shall never 'get over' but we will get better.
Hubby had a heart attack last year and I don't want to have one this year so must work hard to get this flab shifted a stone at a time.
It's hard though girls, very hard, going from being a family to being a couple.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My son is only 8 months but I couldn't imagine my world without him. I think you and your husband are so brave.
Well done you turning your eating habits around!
We are all here to support each other when it gets hard.....
Xxxxxx
Iona
