Hi Chickies!
If any of you shop in the areas below and are cat lovers - it would be great if you voted for this worthy cause.
IŁ1,000 cash is donated from Waitrose’s profits each month in every store to 3 local charities. All customers using the store are given a token. They then vote for which charity they wish to receive a donation by placing the token into the charity box of their choice. At the end of the month the cash is divided up in proportion to the number of tokens a charity has received.
Both members of the public and Waitrose staff can nominate charities within a store’s catchment area.
So, if you work in, live near, or shop in these branches of Waitrose, please nominate the local Celia Hammond Animal Trust rehoming centre/clinic(s) so that we can be considered as one of the charities to receive a donation......
Barbican (Canning Town & Lewisham)
Beckenham (Lewisham)
Bromley (Lewisham)
Canary Wharf (Canning Town & Lewisham)
Crowborough (Tunbridge Wells)
Maidstone (Chatham)
Paddock Wood (Tunbridge Wells)
St Katherine’s Docks (Canning Town & Lewisham)
Tonbridge (Tunbridge Wells)
CHAT operates in the local communities above, providing low cost neutering and vaccination clinics and an extensive rescue and rehoming service for animals.
We have a non-destruction policy, our shelters are bursting at the seams and there are an ever increasing number of animals needing our help – so please support us.
To nominate CHAT, please pick up and complete a leaflet from a Waitrose store. The more people who do, the better chance we have of being picked!

I hope it is ok to put this on here!
