Hi
I have been here many moons ago and I am back.
I live in Milton Keynes ( hey its not all bad you know)
I managed to lose four pounds but guess what I gained it back again:(
Oh well back to the drawing board.
I am now going with calorie counting and exercise again.
I have tried all sorts including South Beach but cannot get to grips with it, it also caused a lot of problems with DH as well. I will not go into this as it seems to cause bother all round. Enough to say I am happier with Calorie counting it will be easier all round and cause less problems.

Anyway I am going to start again and see what happens between now and Christmas.
I really do want to do this and I know I can I just need make short term goals so I can see results. Long term goals are good to have but seem too far away, so I am making some short term goals to work with.

Hi, Paula, you sound quite determined and decidedly positive - I am sure you will get the ball rolling this time. It should help that your husband is in the game, too - it must be nice to have each other's support so close at hand!
How is your plan going this weekend?

Good luck Paula. I think you're right to start with short term goals, they all add up. What sort of exercise are you doing? It's really helped me to do walking or jogging most days.

short terms are definately the way to go!....
all my goals have been little ones....
and im not approaching my final goal!....
you can do it, it is achievable....
just remember - every little helps!....
