Food Help

  • Hi everyone.

I've lost a fair amount of weight eating healthy, organic, and diet foods in the US. However, I just moved to Ireland to study abroad for the semester and I have no idea what to buy. The food here is more expensive and nutrition labels are different (kcal for 100g vs. Calories for serving). Could anyone direct me toward some healthy food I can buy here?

    Thank you!
  • Hi Tigger Well done on your loss so far  I'm sure you'll do very well in your continued plan

What sort of food are you looking for? The labels are not that different, apart from the Kcal bit really. Are you following a cal count, points?

Remember, over there, they'll be loads of fresh veggies to buy and they shouldn't be too expensive, especially from the local market where you're staying.

Have fun while you're there, what a great experience for you And also remember, you'll be walking a lot as well...us lot from that side of the pond, LOVE to walk.... everywhere....even with big heavy bags of shopping from Tesco's or Sainsbury's, very good for toning the arms.
