Default weigh in week 1

so i have just weighed in after my first successful weigh in. I stuck to around 1600 calories per day and I have to confess that I have not done much exercise.

I have lost 6lbs, lost 3% of my body fat and gone down a whole BMI.

I was 15.3 stones and am now 14.11 stones

Congratulations! That's a great first week, and it's great to break thru a stone barrier too!

I'm not a really exercise-minded person, so for August (I started, re-started July 31st) I've been just trying to be a bit less sedentary on 1600 - 1700 calories. Come September 1st, I'm going to start the exercising and see if that takes things along.

Anywyay, well done you!

stones are probably best

i can convert either way but many cant so its easiest if you can convert.

i prefer stones because if you say i had 70 pounds to lose or 5 stones, 5 stones seems much more doable... lol its psychological... on my blog i always write in stones, which i think probably puts off a lot of americans but i do try to convert most of the time too
