The GL Diet
 

Wow, tried trawling Diet Central - got scared, came back here :?:

Has anyone tried the GL diet?

What do you think of it? Is there a good book/website etc that you would recommend?

I don't want an Atkins alike diet, which is what I found on Diet Central. I want a diet book/website that I can follow to re-edcuate me in what exactly healthy and balanced really mean.

I have heard about the GL rather than the GI diet and thought I'd give it a go. But thought I'd try saving some money and, rather than buying EVERY book on the subject, I'd ask here and see what other people think!

Any comments, recommendations, success/failure stories welcome. I REALLY want to make this attempt to shift the weight be my last.

The best book on GL that I have read is by Patrick Holford. It might be worth googling him. Good luck.
