Hi there everyone!!!

  • Hiya!

    Im new to the site, I've today started my diet and Im serious about it this time. I think one of the main reasons that I've failed so often in the past is because ive not had the support from people who understand. Hence, why im here......lol

    I am 5'7'' and weigh 16 stone!!! This is the heaviest I have ever been, and my health is suffering for it.

    I had a baby boy 8 months ago and really need to shift all the baby weight plus the weight that Ive put on since...

    My goal weight is 13 stone, which to me seems almost impossible just now, but Im just gonna take it a day at a time.....

    I'm new to the site too. I'm trying to get down to my pre baby weight at the moment in time for a girly holiday in october, been at it on and off since I had my youngest who is now 3 but now I have a real incentive to do it.

    Im actually feeling really positive, in a way that I never did before. Im going to make a real effort to enjoy myself and not make the dieting and exercise seem like such a chore.

    Just hope I can stay strong......eek!

  • Hi fellow junior member.

    I did a weigh in with friends who gave birth at the same time as my youngest was born and we kept it going once a month for the first year, kept us all pretty disciplined the week before but we stopped doing it as we all got sidetracked. THat's kind of why I'm here, getting focus on the issue and shifting the stubborn weight.

  • Hi there and good luck. I started at 16st around the end of last August and I did it for health reasons this time too. Mini-goals helped to keep it feeling more manageable.
