R U New Too ???

  • Hello to all !

    I've been so excited by this site and just had to put something here to introduce myself.

    I joined weight Watchers 3 weeks ago ( my next weigh in is wednesday morning) and have so far lost half a stone (5 1/2 Ibs first week and 1 1/2 in second week) Only another 73 Ibs to go to get to my top end of the BMI scale or another 93 Ibs if I want to get closer to the smaller end of the scale!!

    I have tried Slimming world umpteen times each time going back just that bit heavier. I tried weight watchers about 4 years ago when they first brought out the points system and did quite well. I really enjoyed the refreshing change of meat and pasta/rice/potatoes together! That's why I won't go back to SW. Don't get me wrong it worked everytime I went, but I just get so BORED eating one thing or the other. Also I found that I get really complacent on SW as you don't really have to think about it. If my minds not active and tuned into the diet then that's when boredom sets in and you fall by the wayside. Anyway, the reason I left weight watchers all those years ago, was because I fell pregnant with my second child - an excellent excuse not to diet !!

    So I took the plunge after not going to a slimming club for 2 and a half years and joined WW. One bit of good news though - I had only put on 2 and a half pounds in the same amount of years.


    Anyway it would be gr8 to hear from anyone in a simular situation or for some advice on WW and this fab site (still finding my way round)
