Hiya, im new here, just thought i'd pop in and say hello....i've loads of weight to lose, and it feels like a massive haul ahead. I've tried all the usual diets, Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Rosemary Conelly, Slim Fast, i could go on... http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/s...boese/a055.gif This time im going to try and do it by eating sensibly, having good healthy foods, and cutting back on the fat as i have been given Xenical by the doc, and of course exercise *groan* http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/s...hlich/d045.gif Anyway here i am....the worlds worst dieter, im just hoping doing it this way and trying to see it as a lifestyle change and not a diet will help, oh and of course having all you lovely peeps to talk to and being part of a support network, just keep everything crossed for me! http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/s...hlich/c020.gif

Hi everyone

As I've been lurking about, I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Theresa and I live on the South Yorkshire/NE Derbyshire borders, originally from New York City. I'm 39 (facing the BIG 4-0 in one month and 4 days - not that I'm counting ;) ) DH and I have been married for 4 yrs (as of the 14th of this month) and I'm step mom to 7 yrs old triplet boys.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, traveling and tinkering with the laptop.

Like most everyone else, my battle with my weight has been ongoing since my teens. I'm an emotional eater - bored, happy, sad, depressed, stressed - any reason and I'm putting food in my face. If I were to list all my reasons, I'd exceed the sites bandwidth!

What I need to do is figure out how to stop. I know it's not easy but there has to be a way. I dont want end up like my mother - dead in her 50's from health problems.

Anyway....I'll sign off for now. I look forward to getting to know you and chatting the pounds off!

Cheers
Theresa

Seven year old triplet boys - oh the horror! What have you done in a past life??? Just kidding but the three words seven, triplet and boys - all together - I have to lie down!!!

I am trying to imagine what you first thought on coming from NYC and now in South Yorkshire?

My name is Fiona and i'm 25 this month and from Scotland, I am currently attending weight watcher and have only lost 9lb so far getting ver disheartened that its not coming off any faster.

My target is to get to around 10st I am very depressed about my weight as I feel that at the age i am I should not be this weight. I came on here to hopefully benefit from other people's success stories.

Fiona xx
