LOL no weight loss I gather then? Have tried some faddy cracker one once which did not work at all!!! I just keep looking for a miracle way to shift the flab quickly even though I know there is not one out there (other than sewing up my gob:D)

Well to put it delicately - no sod it! I was farting like a hippo and also stank of the stuff. Actually there was a lot of celery in it and I sweated and pee'd of green veg. More tea, Vicar?

Thanks for that I like the idea of the sauerkraut one! I have made a really nice roasted red pepper and tomato one with a hint of basil and its lovely cold as well as hot, I am having a glass before my dinner to fill me up a bit :D

I made Cabbage Soup a few weeks ago mainly because it taste like regular vege soup to me and I LOVE Cabbage. I didn't really follow the diet I just made the soup and used it as a filler. I'm also hypoglycemic and it seemed to help me reduce the carbs I was eating.

I definetly wouldn't consider it a long time solution. I didn't suffer from the weakness or dizzyness that some have experienced but the gas is BADDDDD!!!!!!! If you decide to try it DEFINETLY do it on an off day of work/school.

I use low calorie soups a LOT, not as my sole source of calories, but in the scheme of things, they're a great way to feel full on fewer calories. I googled "zero point soups" and "low calorie soups" and found tons of websites with great recipes. One of my favorites is just 1/2 water and 1/2 vegetable or tomato juice and then just about any veggie(s) I feel like throwing in (canned, raw, leftover, frozen...)

Oops instead of water I meant chicken broth or sometimes I use water and a bouillon cube or granules

You are welcome tracy69. Dr Gillian McKeith is always banging on about saurkraut.
