Hi there

Hello, I joined this forum today and it looks quite good!

Ok you are quite a bit lighter than me, sorry! My mistake!

lol not a problem, I still have a large amount to loose though. I'm actually finding it quite difficult I think its the trying to change your life style to make better choices regarding foods. Are you following a plan like ww or sw, or are u just doing it yourself?

Not following ww or any other structured plan as I never last on them. Basically I joined a private gym and they gave me some diet advice and an exercise plan. They are going to weigh and measure me every six weeks. I also went to the nurse at my surgery and she put me on xenical and warned me against eating fats as my body will get rid of them very quickly!

I then went and bought a nice pad and pen and started writing everything down - food, drink and exercise and am monitoring myself.

So while I am doing it alone I do have professionals overseeing what I am doing.

In terms of food I am just trying to chose foods that I know are good for me - and that my body can manage with the tablets. So nothing over 4g sat fat.

I find the trick for me is to know my triggers and what helps me along. I find if I eat junk then it makes me want to eat more junk so I avoid that (having to on the tablets certainly helps) and exercise reduces my appitite significantly so I make sure I do some form of exercise routine every other day.

If I were not exercising I would not be able to control my intake at all. Even with it I may still end up binging if it was not for the fear of leaking the other end, and if I was over eating with rubbish I would be out of control completely.

Do you know what your triggers are, what helps you to be more successful? You look like you've done quite well so far!

I definately find writing it down helps, I'm like you if you have something you know you shouldn't u then just start eating more and more. I haven't done too bad but it has taken me from the beginning of January to get to where I am lol
