Default 'How Did You Do' Thread for Wednesday 11th April

Okay... here we go... we've talked about it - now lets give it a try:

Yesterday....

I kept to my chosen eating plan
I walked for 1 hr 45 mins with the dogs (about 5.75 miles)
I kept my diet/exercise diary

I didn't do the extra 30 minutes of 'non walking' exercise I had planned to do. No excuses... I could have found the time but I didn't. Silly, really, cos I know that 30 mins of weights make me feel great.

Anyone else going to be brave??

---------------------

(If this thread goes well then could the first person on the forum in the mornings start a new thread each day??? )

Hmmm.
Well yesterday I was quite smug about how well I'd done monday and tuesday, so was riding for a fall
I did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer.
I stuck to my plan... right up to the point where I caved and ate 2 veggie sausage rolls and a slice of cheese on toast and 2 vodka & cokes - so that's 600kcals more than I should have

Things will go better today

Better. I didn't drink alcohol, and I didn't eat out. I did run. However, there was still a bit too much chocolate being consumed to be properly on plan.

I've stuck the main thread.

The stickys look a bit crowded now though. Do any need unsticking? The 'hello I'm' is years old. I don't know if it serves a purpose or not?

I did well yesterday- 1400 cals and 2 gymn workouts (i'm on holiday and DF is away so went back for more on the evening)

That will go some way into making a dent into the atrocious weekend I had.

CG - I'll put up the usual weekly Challenge threads for the weigh-ins (or whoever visits here first on a Monday can do it). I was kind of thinking of this daily 'how did we do yesterday' thread as a way of making us think about why we do or don't stay on plan with food and exercise.

In my case I realised when I was typing it that I didn't do the extra exercise I'd planned because I put other less important things and laziness ahead of my own fitness. Something that happens rather a lot in my life.

I resisted biscuits during my breaktime at work this morning. Weakened this afternoon and had some Toblerone but didn't go mad on other choccy we have at work.

Had special K all week instead of Lurpak on toast.

Went to the gym and worked hard.

Ok gals... reading abt the exersice you all are putting into ur day, I am suddenly getting a feeling that I am hardly moving.
Yesterdays day went on fine food wise. Just topped my dinner off with u small cubes of chocolate. Shouldnt have done that knowing my morning 40min workout was spoilt bcos of some unknown reason. I did a 20 mins stepper followed by a 45 min walk brisk with my husband.
I think today it be a better day for me!

I got on well yesterday stuck within my ww points and went for a 3 mile walk which earned me 3 bonus points. As it is late on that am writing this I thought I would just update that my weigh in was tonight and i lost 1.5lb which now makes my total 10.5lb which I am happy with.

Yesterday was OK for me , I ate sensibly and went to bed at 11pm......then couldn't sleep at all, so got up and did some creative stuff, watched a bit of TV and finally went to sleep at 3 am! needless to say I was hungry between 11pm and 3am so I had a toasted teacake and some warm milk with sugar in it. It's always difficult for me when I can't sleep so I'm not fretting about anything I ate .
