I was watching CHEF! one night. My DH heard me laughing so hard that I could barely breathe. He came out and within 1 minute was sitting next to me laughing uncontrollably.

We loved season one. Season two was so so. Someone told me that there was a season three. If so, it hasn't aired in the U.S.

What is that wonderfully talented man doing now? Any TV that BBC shows?

Oh, no new Lingo for a bit. I haven't had time to read my book to pick up more Gaelic and Gordon isn't on right now.

Brill is short for brilliant. I gather you're learing Anglicisms? Another favorite word of mine that I picked up when I moved here is scrummy, short for scrumptous. Anything from a great paint color to a cute pair of shoes to a new baby to yummy chocolate can be scrummy.
