Easter Chicks Weigh In Thread-End Of Week 7

Sarah where are you?

I had to start this as I've lost 2.5lbs :carrot: My first loss in weeks.

redsoxgirl 02-22-2007 09:36 AM

Congrats..I forgot to weigh this morning, I'll have to do it tomorrow, have a feeling it will be the same or close to it once again!!! Oh well.

Sarah Ann 02-22-2007 09:40 AM

Oh - WELL DONE!!!!!!

I'm here... but only just! I got called in to work to cover for yet another person who has come down with something unpleasant. :dizzy:

Sorry I didn't start the thread (thanks for doing it CG) - I completely forgot its Thursday so didn't weigh again! Is this memory loss a side affect of dieting? More likely to be a blonde or senior 'moment'.

I'm on holiday starting tomorrow night - so good luck to everyone and :crossed: that I don't put on too much weight while I'm away.

:grouphug:

Good job on those 3lbs.

I know what you mean about that stodge you just want to fill yourself up with comfort food.

Doughnut 02-22-2007 01:45 PM

Well done CG and Mad. Have a good holiday Sarah.

I lost 3.6 lbs last week (weigh in on Mondays) which was basically just the weight I'd put on the 2 weeks before - so back to where I was at the end of January

Well done everyone on all your losses - you're all doing really well :)

peacock 2 02-23-2007 10:27 AM

Which is more than can be said for me. Back up to 96.6 but well I was on holiday. It is mainly pasta in Malta and I got fed up of Penne this and that. I did have one healthy salad but as I had it with 2 bottles of red wine (shared with one other) and a naughty meringue dessert I guess that does not count!

Back to the drawing board!

I've stayed exactly the same this week, but I have had a good week, so hopefully it'll catch up with me for my next weigh in! Congrats to all the losers and congrats to the non-losers as well for sticking at it :)

I've been doing very badly for a long time but I had my contraceptive implant removed on Monday because I felt it was related to how much weight I've put on in the last year. Even though I've had a bad week (scoffed 250g of dairy milk and a bottle of wine in anger and done no exercise at all) I've still somehow managed to lose 2.5lbs! I'm well chuffed!

bits 02-25-2007 03:50 PM

That's great news! :D

micheleherts 02-25-2007 04:24 PM

Thats great news Wana. Must tell you though when I stopped my contraceptives to see if it affected my weight 14 years ago I fell pregnant immediately with my second son!!!

Mind you I had got rotten drunk St Patrick's night and there was no thought of contraceptives if you get my drift!!

Well done you though.

Michele

redsoxgirl 02-25-2007 05:25 PM

redsoxgirl 02-26-2007 08:06 PM

My nephew is Christopher Patrick :)

I'm well, ran a 10k yesterday with a raging sore throat...good news, personal best on the race, bad news I now have a full fledged cold. I skipped the gym tonight and have been on the couch since I got home from work.

I'm ready for spring, this weather, combined with a cold house, and germy students have given me more colds than I've had in years :(

YP1 02-27-2007 03:57 AM

Like Chris said you've done great. Look at your numbers.

peacock 2 02-28-2007 05:11 AM

Unfortunately I came back from holiday and succumed to a cold. The usual non stop peeing for two days and sweating but the good news is I have lost weight! I am down from 96.6 kg to 94.2 kg which is think is 14st 8lbs. However I reckon once I go back to 'solids' (I am on liquds only as don't fancy anything that does not slip down) I shall probably get my apetite back with a vengence! However I am going to really try this time and eat a lot healthier at least!

micheleherts 02-28-2007 01:00 PM

Aww thanks CC and Chris

xxxxxxxx

micheleherts 02-28-2007 01:01 PM

OOps sorry Peacock sorry missed that post. Hope you feel better soon
you can keep those pounds off.

Michele x
