Easter Chicks Weigh In Thread - End of Week 1

End of week one (seems like its been a L-O-N-G week).

I got a nice suprise this morning, the scales showed that I've lost 6lbs this week! Only another 2lbs to go before I've lost the weight I gained over Christmas, so I'm hoping to do that by next week. :crossed:

I've been struggling with the RC GI Jeans Kick Start (the introductory 2 week at 1200 cals before increasing to 1500) and I was thinking of not bothering with the second Kick Start week but that 6lbs has given me the incentive to carry on. I wouldn't want to do 1200 cals on a long term basis, though.

How's it going for everyone else?????

:balloons:

I've lost 2lbs - down to 12 stone 7lbs. Just 14lbs to go!

I'm a bit miffed that it wasn't lower this morning since I've been spot-on with everything, but I figured that I need some fibre :o so I've eaten a load of baby carrots, an apple and a satsuma and I've got my Ryvitas with cottage cheese - I'm halfway through it, but stopped. :dunno:

Oh MAN! Sarah - you're already beating me :tantrum:  ;)

I'm down 1 from last Thursday, but down 4 from last Monday when I got back from New Years.

Thanks Sarah Ann - I will weigh in here from now on.

15st / 95.4 kg as from Tuesday.

I will try to weigh myself every Tuesday from now on.

2frustrated 01-11-2007 06:19 AM

And I'll be back down to my 1/4lb a week...

Clydegirl 01-11-2007 08:27 AM

I am up 1.5lbs :( My appetite is better and it's my time of the month.

I haven't been able to exercise either hopefully next week will be better.

Well done sarah and Jen  I am showing a two pound gain this week...I don't know why? I've been on track and apart from not getting to curves I have been walking with dogs and on the :tread: I feel ucky. I'm tired, Dave has a cold and kept me awake half the night with his sniffles and groans with not feeling well...never mind, hopefully I'll show a loss next week... won't let this get me down.

 for you CG... we're both in the same boat... don't exercise until your neck feels better though....

LynneA 01-11-2007 09:22 AM

I'm up 1lb from last week, I weigh on a Monday so I'm going on this Monday's weigh in.

Sarah Ann 01-11-2007 09:38 AM

Well done to RSG :carrot:

Big hug  to Chris, CG and Lynne - those pounds will come off in their own time - its so depressing when you do all the right things and nothing happens. :grouphug:

Hi everyone - well done on your losses this week!
Sarah, I know what you mean about a long week - everything seems to go so much more slowly when I'm being healthy - thought dinner time was never going to come today!

I've lost 6lbs this week:cheer:

I always love the start of a diet when the weight comes off really quickly (most of the time - I have had times when it's taken ages to get going) - it's a few weeks in when things really slow down that I really struggle.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good second week!

Mary

Well done everyone. I've had a surprisingly good week and am down 3lbs which sort of makes up for the weight I didn't lose last week on the first week of my diet.
