Tuesday
Yesterday went really good.Did not eat anything between meals which is a really big deal for me.It looks like I will positively have a loss this week.But will have to wait to see.I can gain much overnight sometimes.

I gained. 2 plus pounds, and I don't like it.
Sherri-I'm not sure about this points thing. I'm not getting enough veggies in. But it seems that all the convenience food goes towards this points thing. Plus the exercise. So I'm trying it another week. If I don't do better, I'm going back to exchanges. I did meeting last night, and it seemed to go well. Doing a new game. "Take off Pounds Sensibly, Cuz this weight is bugging me". Everyone is bringing in something to take trigger emotions off minds for the prize. journal, bubble bath, book ect. other than that I'm doing great, and I will get this weight off. 51 days till cruise. Happy Tuesday everyone! Had my weigh-in and am down another 1.5lbs. this week. I won best loser of the month at 11.75 lbs. since July 9, 2001. Hope everyone is doing well. Big hello to everyone.

Sadie - you inspire me, that is an excellent lose, congrats all the way. wrbedell - hang in there we all have our off weeks. Better luck to you this week. The points thing you are doing, I dont know the details, but I have heard they are easier but the exchange works better for getting more of the food from the vegies and such. I actually am counting calories and just writing down all I am eating to be aware of all that goes in my mouth, realizing I am eating a lot more than I realized. I am planning on working towards the exchange, but right now I want to realize what, where and why I am eating. I have heard lots of people enjoy the points, but dont they say you can eat whatever you want as long as you count the points, I can see how you would have a hard time getting your veggies in. Best of luck to you on that decision, sometimes there are too many choices for us to try to lose weight, and that makes it difficult. We always want it fast, that is why I always look at the current diet programs, trying to make a habit of not doing that anymore. I know what is right and how to do it correctly, just dont like the turtle method, we are not good people in waiting, at least I am not. Eleni - you are doing good, and you have some fun things coming up, keep positive and have a great week. Well, have to go and do the fun time weigh in this morning, I have to face my scale. Congrats on staying on plan. You are doing great. Keep up the great work and I am sure that you will have a loss this week. Wendy, Hey girl. First of all remember that most veggies are free. So it shouldn't be a problem to fit them into your points for the day. Also like I had said before. Not every program works for everyone. If you were doing great losing doing the exchange before then I recommend you going back to that. We have to find what works for us and stick with that. I learned that the hard way and put back on 10 lbs that I am struggling with now. I haven't done so good this week myself. I have stayed within points since sunday. But still haven't done as well as what I have wanted to do. I have had a down week since the weekend and also it is very hot and humid here so it is throwing everything off. But I am aware of what and how much I am eating and writing it down so I make sure I don't go over my points for the day. So I might have a loss this week but I don't know. I ate too much over the weekend on friday and saturday. But time will tell. But don't keep on the plan because of me if you think that it isn't working. You have to do what you have to do for you. If the exchange works and you are comfortable with it then go back to it and start losing this unwanted weight that you have. Angel, I am glad that you have found something for you as well. See we all will meet our goals. We will just get there on a different path and that is okay as long as we get there someday it doesn't matter how we did it. As long as it works for you. Stick to what you are doing it is working for you. Keep up the great work. Sadiegirl, I am hoping that once I get back from florida that I will start having losses every week also again so I can make it to my goal by the end of the year. I am going to try and be good while away. But I am not going to stress over it. Also I realized that I lose more weight when I don't exercise. So I might try that for awhile and see what happens. When I exercise I don't lose as much or not at all from the muscle. So we will see. Congrats on the great losses. I am proud of you. You have worked hard and it is paying off for you because you are getting thinner everyday. You will be at goal in no time. Keep up the great work. Tonight was my weigh-in and I got 2nd place for Loser of the Month -- who would have thought we'd be so happy about being such losers! :lol: Wendy, hang in there. I don't know much about the WW Points system, but I do know that sometimes our bodies take a few weeks to adjust to new eating habits, even if they're good ones! That game your group is playing sounds really great. I bet you're excited about your upcoming cruise! |

Guess you all thought I was in hinding LOL ;) Well I am still here and doing really well...and so is my daughter :):) She has lost 2 pounds so far and is really motivated to keep OP, So I just had to say Thanks to all you wonderful ladies for all your prayers and support on the decision I had to make, Looks like it was exactally what the Doctor ordered in her case;) Congrats to all you losers this week also!!! Way to go you all, and Ciecie 4 pounds...... Way to go girl!! I wont know about me or Marissa till tomorow night at weigh in but I will let ya know how it turns out, I hate to run off but I am babysitting today, I will try to post individually tonight when he is gone...
