Graduation question

Good morning ladies,
Does anyone know the exact specs for the KOPS graduation dress??
Does it have to be plain white? Any help would be greatly apriciated, I am ready to go shopping this weekend for it, but want to make sure it is legal so when I get there I can wear it with no hassles, Thanks in advance for the help ;)

I never thought about that - I bought white satin with a white sheer to use as overlay, I know the dress my neighbor wore for her graduation in the 80's had a white lace overlay, but perhaps you could phone your leader or feild staff member, they would probably know. I bought my self but still have about 40 - 50 pounds to go - so about 4-5pounds/month - the fabric is my inspiration.

In our area, it's supposed to be white or off-white. Are you planning to graduate at SRD? The rules that were sent to us said no creams or ivory for graduation at SRD.

Thanks for the replies jenniegirl and Flgal,
jenniegirl- You just hang on to that material, You will be wearing it on that stage before you know it :D

Flgal- I will be graduating April the 8th at our SRD, I have waited to do this for over 7 years now and cannot wait to actually do it ;) I lost my status the first time before I ever got to graduate and just gave up even wanting to be KOPS again in 2001, but after alot of thought and prayer I was really shorting myself out of a goal that I could meet if I really wanted and snapped back last year. I was also given a KOPS rose at last years SRD when I had to lose the last 20 pounds by a former runner up King for 2004 and it has really helped to know that someone believes in me and if he could do it, well I had no excuse not to :nono: Have a wonderful day ladies :grouphug:

Christie,Your leader should have a letter stating the exact rules for your state. Like Nita said.In Florida it must be white, no beige cream.White.Also it must be a certain length. It use to be floor length but now it can be mid calf. Get the official ruling so nothing stops you at SRD.
