Tuesday 5-10

Hello everyone....I'm hanging in there with the food, but I'm going to have to whack the scales, I think they are hung!!!! Boy I need to just except that this is how I'm going to have to eat the rest of my life and not put so much thought into the scales going up or down. If I eat like a 200 pound woman, sooner or later I'll weigh 200. Hang in everyone, losing this excess weight is doable. We may have failed at reaching our goals in the past, but this is now. Besides we haven't failed until we quit, and I'll never give up. Belle

Eleni...Sorry to hear you under the weather. This is a terrible time of the year to have a cold. Having a cold is one of my biggest fears. I have asthma and if I get a cold I'm in for a hard time.

Hello,
I haven't been able to get here as often as I like. Right now it seems like I'm shooting to do everything in 3's. I'm trying to get here to post 3 times a week and I work out 3 times a week.

I'll be out of school in 4 weeks, so after that I'm really going to hit it hard. Right now, I'm hoping to maintain and maybe loose a couple of pounds in 4 weeks.

Belle: Thanks for being faithful and posting everyday. Sorry to hear you turtled instead of losing when you thought you would but it's better than a gain. You are so right in your thinking that if you eat like a 200 lb woman that is what you will be. Remember that saying "The Me I see, is the Me I'll be"? Keep working hard towards your goal.

Eleni: I hope your cold gets better. I read you were using Vicks. Doesn't that make you feel so much better? At least you can breathe and sleep.

Welcome to our Newest Board member. I'm sorry I don't remember your name. But I did read your post. I know we all look forward to supporting you and you doing the same for us.

I've got to get back to work.

Susie

Hi everyone,

Belle, Glad to hear that you are hanging in there. Don't get discouraged when the scale doesn't show a loss. Sometimes, we are retaining a little water and losing inches. The important thing is to show a loss at the end of the week or to end up the month with a loss, every month, losses add up over time.
I don't even weigh in on a daily basis anymore. I know that I have to stick with my menu plans 7 days every week to show a loss at TOPS. And I haven't done well with it lately, but I'm motivated to work at it again.
I have been logging my food everyday again. It's a pain sometimes, but it works for me.
I got to go, my neighbor wants me to drive her to the next little town from here to do some business.

Susie, good luck with your weigh-in.

TOPS Hugs

Nita
