    I've had a good mind set for a couple of days now and I've been working it again. Unfortunatly it didn't show at my TOPS weigh-in last night. I gained 2.50. It's ok...I know why it happened and I can change it...more importantly I want to change it and I'm already starting to.

    I did some core strenghting exerices this morning. That plank is hard! I'm able to hold it for 17 seconds before I collaspe. I did that 3 times. Then tried to do that yoga type move where you are on your knees and you lift the opposite hand and leg straight out in front of you...I had a hard time holding that pose. So I can tell that I need to work on that core strength. I also did some standing crunches that I saw a trainer show to someone once who had low back problems.

    Sherri: A plank is when you are lying on your stomach and you raise up on your toes and your forearms at the same time and hoover, the trick is to keep your stomach/core in tight so you can hold the position.

    I'm at work so I can't post much. I need to get back to work..but wanted to do a quick check-in.

    Glad you made your pebble yesterday I did to. I got in my stomach exercises. I will try that move the plank and see what I can do.LOL

    I am doing well I am still on plan and proud of me. It hasn't been an easy week to stick to the lower points but I did it and I am going to continue.

    Remember girl you can do this I am here for you. Jump back on plan tomorrow and stick with the south beach diet. You can do it.

  • Hello all, I am always close by. Like a lot of us I have been struggling and doing very poorly with losing weight. Have regained all I lost.Don't want to put a negative vib on board so I just lurk. My girls know I am always close by.
    I have been doing Richard Simmons "Sitting Tight" tape which is done sitting and is excellent. Plus some stretches. Doctor told me he hopes to have me feeling better by summer. I am hoping to see Christie and Sherri.He said it has not been that long since I got ICD. It just seems longer as I first got sick back in Aug. But I stay busy.As busy as I can.Bad days I rest a lot. Of course Bill is so good to me. I am so lucky to have him.
    But overall all things are ok. It looks like I will start my 4th year straight as leader. I told them this would be my last and they just say "yeah". But they have all pitched in since I got sick. I have gotten real good at delagating. I am very proud of my chapter.
    So thats it for me.
