Saturday! It's the Weekend!

We had some bad weather come through last night with tornado's and bad wind and rain :(

Hello! Hopefully the tornadoes did not touch down too close to you. We have had alot of rain and some cold weather for about two to three weeks now. No tornadoes though!

Our car is out of commission right now, so a friend from church took me grocery shopping yesterday. We were out of everything! I desperately needed to go and another friend is picking me up for a church pot - luck and prayer meeting tonight and now I have something to bring. So glad to have fresh veggies in the house again. Boy, you sure do miss a car once yours is out of commission.

I hope to make some wise choices at the pot - luck tonight. Now that the house is stocked up with food again and especially veggies I hope to get back on track and keep losing. I haven't been eating too balanced of meals for a few days now.

We are having beautiful weather. I even put my ac on. Sun is shining.
Went to my art class this morning and we could tell I haven't picked up a pencil or pen in weeks. Oh well. I have a piano lesson in about an hour and that will be a hoot too. :lol: Oh well. I am in no rush on either.
I have been buying "Claudia Nice" art books on ebay. The ones that are no longer in print. So far I have 3. They are not cheap.
Well I better hit the piano for a minute or two before she gets here. I really would have liked to skip the lesson but I know she counts on the money.And she is good enough to come only once a month like I wanted. So I hated to cancel.

I thought I would make it here yesterday but I didn't. However, your ears should've been burning because I was talking about all you great gals last night to a friend that I was having dinner with. She told me that I'm looking great and what kept me going. So I told her about all of you and all the support I get here.

I'm doing ok with the food. I've kept all cookies, except animal crackers out of the house, so if I'm tempeted to have something sweet I have to go out and buy it. I'm not usually up for the extra trip out.

I had a 3/4 lb loss at my TOPS weigh-in. It felt great to be headed in the right direction.

The first night of school went well. I've got homework to do tomorrow with my tutor. Because it was the first night of class we got out a little early, so I headed to Wal-mart to look around. I found some exercise clothes on sale! The pants were $9.00 each and the tops were $8.00 each. I bought 3 of each. It was sort of my little present to myself out of my 1st check for my new job. Now I need to start saving more..but this one time..I just had to splurge. It's going to feel good to go to the gym sporting new clothes..that fit. My old stuff had really gotton to big and it was all faded.

I'm off to the grocery with DH. Talk to you all tomorrow.
