Your leader can contact TOPS and they have all kinds of materials for leaders. All kinds of ideas for meetings.Plays, games, fun activities, info, etc She should have a "leaders requisition form".It has chapter program requisition on it.Plus it should have area captain and address.Drop her a note and ask for info.Tops has plenty of info.plus your previous leader should have had some on hand.We pass ours along to new leaders.
I use to get articles on healthy living from any and all sources.Magazines, web sites,TOPS magazine etc.
Plus.people like to get involved.have informal meetings where those that want to can share their week or weight loss tips.Contests are great. It seems to motivate so much.

Hi Wendy,

Eleni has given you good advice on the programs. Your past leader(s) have received programs every other month or so. Your current one will also. They must have some. If not, it's ashame, and they must have either misplaced them or thrown them out.

To expound a bit more on the TOPS programs, there are 100 of them that TOPS, Inc has put out. The form that you will request on the leader requisition form (which is blue) is L-33. On the l-33, all the programs are listed individually so you can order one or all if needed. I suggest the chapter buy a huge 3-ring binder or 2 smaller ones and keep them all in it. To make it easy to see what the titles and description of them are, I put one of the L-33 forms in a plastic sleeve and place it at the front of the programs in the binder.

So they don't get 'lost' we sign them out to the members (who must return them) and one person is responsible for the programs, be it the leader or the 'program leader'. Hope this helps.

TOPS HUGS,
Summer

I found a good idea for a fun program on the "TOPS" bulletin board. It's played like the dating game on TV, only the dietwatcher choses from 3 foods, one healthy, one fattening and one ridiculous. Three tops members represents each food and answer questions such as: Are you a hot dish or a cool stud, what do you look good with. Check out the bulletin board. Also, there is a lot of information on the internet. The healthy refrigerator, articles on dietwatch, etc.
