Gee, another week almost over. Time is just going waaaaaaaaay too fast!
Wendy, Sounds like you are frazzled and I can't blame ya. You have a lot going on. My thoughts and prayers are with your dad and mom. Oh boy, family can be such pains.....men, especially. Sometimes I wonder where they keep their heads!
Opps, that could be taken another way, but don't!
The trailor thing will work out. Stop and take some nice deep breaths.
Susie, I have some clothes that I've had for years and it is amazing the memories they can bring back. When I get this weight back off, they are heading out the door!
Sherri, hope your feeling better. It's been years since I've had one and I'll never forget that I didn't dare go far from the bathroom. The teacher at school is being great about having dd doing a 'job'. DD has a very creative para that works with her and they are going to make pinecone ornaments and decorations to sell at school. Whatever money is made will pay for the supplies. DD will make color and design choices by smiling at what she wants. The vocational rehab person did an intake interview with her 9 months ago and said he would do testing, but he has never called back....or returned calls. I'm going to hold him accountable and I got phone numbers at the conference that should light a fire under him. In regards to the college credits, each class has so many 'credit hours' assigned based on difficulty and time involved. After dropping one of her 3 hr Psych classes, what she has left is another Psych - 3 hrs, Statistics - 4 hrs and Spanish - 5 hrs. That puts her at 12 credits which is the minimum for full time status. They suggest that students plan on studying 2 hrs for every one that is taken, so she should be studying 24hrs a week. So that at 36hrs total is just about a full time job. She went to a community college for her associate in Science degree and thought it would be as easy at a University. HA! What an awakening she's having. She also feels like she's living in a zoo. She has been visited by raccoons and a black bear on the front porch where the garbage can is, seen a fox and deer in the yard, has a squirrel stalking her when she comes and goes and now a mouse in the house!!! There has never been mice in her grandma's house, so I'm not sure what she is doing! The only animals she hasn't had personal experiences with yet are skunks [our dog did tho!] and a mountain lion.......and I hope never for that one. They have been sighted in the area occasionally only because they go where the deer go. We're going to go down in a couple of weeks.
I gained 1/2# Wed, and I'm surprised it wasn't more. The foods served at the conference were very high carb, few vegies and little meat. Of course during breaks, cookies were served. You all know, those nice, big, soft cookies ladened with choc chips, caramel, and nuts!!!!! I will have a loss next week.
Must run. "HELLO"
to everyone else I didn't personally address. May we all have a great day!!!!
