Hello, I couldn't sleep late this morning. Sometimes my hips and lower back hurt bad. I have a homemade double pillowcase that I put two pillows in and it keeps my legs raised and it helps a lot.Haven't been using it and I will tonight.Someday I would love to have a craftmatic bed.
I plan on taking it easy today.Did a little too much yesterday. I spent about 6 hours or more just straightening out TOPS stuff and making visitor packets. Amazing how time consuming it can be, But have it now where making packets will be a piece of cake. But we won't need any for a long time as I made 18. I used up most of my black ink making some copies . I am so glad my printer is also a copier.
I still have more organizing to do but yesterday was the biggest. Somehow the TOPS stuff seems to mulitiply and mulitiply and mulitiply .
I have another piano lesson today. Every two weeks is just too short a time for me. It is not what I wanted and I let her talk me into it. I only want to do it once a month. I plan on telling her that today.If she doesn't want to do it by the lesson I will find someone that will. I am not thrilled with her teaching methods anyway. It is nice that she comes to the house. That part I like.
One nice thing about getting up early is I can hear the mocking birds sing. My woodpecker came back yesterday.He stayed at feeder for long time. I usually have one large one and a small one .The small one has never come to feeder but I have seen him in trees. Howard Park has a large amount of woodpeckers. Especially at the first shelter on right. The trees were full of them the last time I was there.
Being un employed I have started being a bargan and coupon shopper. Winn Dixie and Alberson had a lot of buy one get one free. Winn Dixie has beef and A has pork.
Once I get over all this stuff I am thinking about trying to get some space at one of antique stores in town and start getting rid of my collections. Maybe even play around with E-bay again.I am trying to simplify my life.Plus some of it is just taking up space.

Just thought I'd drop in and let you know why I have been MIA...I have Bell's Palsy, it is an infection that attacks the nerves in the face. I look like I've had a stroke, but Dr's assure me it is temporary. Started at the lake and I thought it was allergies, tearing and swelling in my left eye. When my mouth began to draw to the side my DH said get in the car, we are going home to the Dr. They did EKG, blood work, and sent me to the ER for CTScan. All were normal. (However I told the Dr., must be someone elses test, I had never been normal. ha)
Eleni, glad to hear you are doing better...sorry I haven't written in a while. Just don't over do. Stop and rest when you get tired, I know that is hard to do, but sometimes you just have to make yourself.
I will try to get back more often. I really do need the support...med's I'm cause weight gain. But when I weighed in the other night, I had gained 1/4 # since last weigh in of July! I am still in leeway, just barely. So keep me in your prayers.
To all of you I didn't name...I do think about you and hope you are doing well and that you are staying OP.

Penny and Eleni it's great to see both of your posts today; the board sure gets slow over the weekend. That's understandable; people have so much to do over the weekend.

Eleni: Doesn't it feel good to simplify? I've been trying to do some of that in my life too, with things and commitments. I hope the piano teacher will do as you ask, if not, I'm sure you can find someone else. It's really easy to let others talk us into doing things there way isn't it?

Penny: Have a nice time with your boys. What type of games are you playing? Growing up, we played alot of games together as a family. It makes for nice memories.

I've had a very busy day. I cleaned house this morning. My tutor for Accounting came over and worked with me on homework for 2 hours. She said it went a lot easier than it did 2 weeks ago, and she thinks I'm doing much better--that's sure nice to hear. It's a little more understandable for me, but it sure takes me a long time!

I went on a walk after the homework session. It was nice to get out and just clear my head. I have grocery's to go buy here in a little while. I'm also trying to get my closets switched over from spring/summer to fall/winter. Just working on it a bit at a time.

Had talk with piano teacher. We will be doing what I wanted from the start. She will come the first sat of each month. I will pay by the lesson. She usually charges $23 but I told her I would pay her $25 as she is losing that much each month. $25 is better than $46. And I can take my time during the month. I am in no hurry.
We hit the two major stoes for the but 1 get 1 free meats. I won't have to get any meat for a long time. It is a big bill to start but it works well in long run.
The day has been nice here. I have a tops pal coming for supper tomorrow night. Her husband recently passed away suddenly and she is having a hard time. She knows Bill as he is our unofficial mascot at SRD. Her husband was oly 55.Very young.
Well I need to put these groceries up. Have a nice evening
