Doing well, miss you guys. The doctor put me off of work yesterday. The hour, and sometimes plus drive was getting to me. I have to have a non-stress test once a week now, and my doctors vists just went to once a week. The due date unless Garret has his own ideas is July 21 at 7:45-8:15, that's am. Schedule c-section. We have to be there 2 hours ahead of time to check in and get my room.
I've very tired. Started washing baby clothes this morning.

Got a really sad phone call this morning. A good friend of mine from work son died in a car accident last night. I guess his car hit a tree. He and his dog were both burned after that. And of couse my cellphone doen't get reception where we are, I just switched. And I don't have long distance on my home phone. Need to change that.

I hope this little note finds you all doing well.
I've gained some, but not a lot. LOts of tops hugs

I am so sorry for your friend.

Long time no talk! I am still here lurking several times a week. Not much new to report with me. I was doing really good for a couple of weeks and then started to get off plan again. Now I am struggling to get back on plan again. But I know I can do this I just need to stay motivated and keep my butt in gear. I am doing quite a bit of gardening lately which should help with the exercise part. We are redoing our front shrub garden and ripping up the black weed cover and all the rock that the original owners had there. I don't like the rock they used. We are going to use the rock for the base of Hubby's shed that is going in this summer too. I am replacing the rock with red mulch so there is a little color there. There are a couple of shrubs that did not survive the winter that need to be replaced and there is another one that I just don't like so I am digging that up and moving it to the side of the house. I already put a new flower garden in the front yard in the corner that I filled with spring perennials. They won't do much this year but should bloom and spread next year.

I also have to paint the shutters as they are white right now and we are painting them burgundy. That way they match the doors on the front of the house too. When it is all done it should look really nice. At least an improvement over what is there now.

I got some good news last week. My sugars were on the high end 6 months ago and on my latest blood test last week they are back to normal again. At least the healthier eating is helping internally even if I haven't lost any real weight yet. I have set an initial goal for myself though and I intend on keeping it. I want to pick up the South Beach book just to have a reference and get some info.

Will check in again tomorrow!

Hi Alannah!

Let me know if there is anything you need on South Beach. It is really a wonderful plan. And your cravings are virtually gone after the first two weeks. You just have to be totally committed to the plan just like any other.

Hope you love it! And stop by the Beach some time! (South Beach Forum)

They have all the food lists and things you will need posted on there!
