3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to say "HI". I haven't had time for much of anything....but trying to just survive life.

THANK YOU :angel: :love: :grouphug: for the wishes. Let's see. We were down at MIL's house STILL going through 'stuff'. Left Wed and came home Sunday. Just when I thought I was seeing the end to all the old letters and cards, DH found 3 more BIG boxes. I can't believe this......I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy........OK, maybe I would! :lol: She lived there for 61 years.........storage space galore and every inch ...plus... used. I just realized coming home that we are the opposite of most people. Instead of having a 'mountain home' to get away to from the city........we have a 'city home' to get out of the mountains. :lol: It sure is nice having some stores to shop at close by. Our nearest Walmart is 40 mi! Oldest DD is thinking of living there for the summer. She thinks it will be easier to find a job there, but she might be in for a surprise.

My girlfriend of 45 yrs [went to kindergarten together] got together Sunday before we came home. We couldn't go out due to youngest dd just getting over another bout of pneumonia, so we ordered in chinese and she brought a tiramisu [sp?] cake, which I love!!!!! She brought me a wonderful lavendar candle to help me relax. Took a little walk down to the creek after eating and I am so out of shape. I have regained 30 pounds since losing KOPS. How sad............ :(

We also have construction people here and have had for almost 4 wks. I am confined to a small room with school people coming in along with therapists and home health workers and I am ready to SCREAM!!!!!! :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: We are getting dd's bedroom door and bathroom door widened to accomodate her w/c better so it won't mark up the doors. She is getting a jetted whirlpool bathtub to help her spastic muscles. One that a therapist could get in with her would be ideal, but this will be fine. We were told the work would take 1 to 1 1/2 weeks..........and this is not fun anymore. They haven't even started on her bedroom doorway yet. OH BOY!!!!!

I'm OK, not caring about too much in regards to weight loss. Not a good attitude, but OH WELL.

I'm thrilled for everyone. Looks like most of you are doing well and for those that continue to struggle...........I'm right there with ya! :kickcan:
