Hi all,

Thinking of all of you that weigh in tonight good luck and let us know how it goes.

Geri,

I have a response to your post. The answer Yes that you were looking for is there. Time is just that time. We control what we do with our time in a 24 hour period. You can't stop time or slow it down but you change your schedule around (even now) to allow some YOU TIME. It is possible. I know how hard it is to work full time and try and spend time with the kids, husband and just YOU TIME. Take advantage of bedtime. Make sure you get the little ones in bed and put them on a schedule if they are not already on one. It will be good for them and you. Then after they are asleep use that time to things you want to to. You might not be able to do it every night (have time for just you) but like everything else we have to schedule time for ourselves and keep the appointments. You are worth it and you deserve it.
I won't say there will be more time once you are a stay at home mom. I have done that myself before I started working full time in january of this year. I was home for 10 years. It seems that when you are at home there is always something that needs to be done. Just remember to put yourself and your family on some sort of schedule. Christy knows about this. She was more exhausted once she quit her job and stayed at home. Then she put a schedule together and now she has down time. Remember you are one person whether you are working full time or you are a full time mom. The full time mom takes a lot of time and effort. Sometimes more then the job. But there are so many more benefits of staying home that can't compare to working and not seeing your boys grow up. They are only little once so enjoy it now.
The next month will go by faster if you start to plan on what you will be doing and then you will have somthing to look forward to. You are closing one door and opening another.

As for the weight. I understand it isn't good to lose weight while pregnant. But I know I am eating healthier now and I can account for my calories now so that will help a lot. I just want to get through this pregnancy with the least amount of weight gain that I can and make sure me and the baby are healthy.

I know that being a SAHM will be difficult --- nowhere to run :lol:
The kids are on a pretty good schedule. Will still naps a couple of hours a day and is usually in bed by 8:30. Tony has been sleeping through the night for a little while now and usually passes out between 7:30 and 8:00. I'm used to getting up at 5:15 so by the time they go to bed, I'm toast! :tired:
While I'm home during the day I'll have no excuse to not take the boys downstairs (we have a nice rec room-one of the reasons we bought the house) and walk on the treadmill while they play or watch a video.
It's all a catch 22 to me - I'm tired because I don't exercise and I don't exercise because I'm tired. Just have to get back into that "I'm doing this for my own health" frame of mind. I will .. it's just tough sometimes.:)

Hi Everyone
How is everyone doing. Didnt realize it had been a week since I had been on here. So will have to go and catch up on everyone again. Dont know where the time is going. I think I need to go check on my messages and the board. But then something else comes up. Or someone wants me to do something for them. But I guess I am just going to have to start saying no. That I need my friends here. I had a gain this week. I gained 1/2 lb. But I also gained last week 1/2 lb. So I need to get on here. I do so much better with you ladies by my side. It is gonna be a bad weekend. Son is going back for a week of school. Hopefully this will be the last. He is so unhappy about going. He is really getting cranky and I can see him getting misty eyed. So that dont help. I have decieded to stay home on Sunday. My dad is going to take son to school. I think that will be better on both of us. Then hubby and I will go on Friday and get him. But it will kinda be good son is gone. There wont be much junk food in the house.

SHERRI How are you doing. Have you seen the DR yet about your diet. I am sure you will do great. Have you been feeling ok. Just know that I am thinking of you. Take care.

FLGAL How are you? Are you staying OP. I havent been doing to well with that lately. I really need to get back to walking. I rode the bike just a little the other day. But it made my knee hurt. I will have to check the weigh in thread and see how you are doing. You can do this. I know you can.

Welcome to the newbies. And to all you other ladies I havent mentioned. I am thinking of you. Hoping that you are all doing ok. Having great losses. Staying OP. And getting ready for the holidays. Wont be long you know.
Well I better get off here. Didnt mean to write a book. But it was either get on here and write. Or eat. So I picked this. But I also need to get my Avon order ready. I have to send it in tomorrow. So that will keep me busy too. So have a great night everyone.

You have great ideas. Just make sure that you stick to them. You can do this remember we are all here for you.

I am glad to finally hear from you. Hopefully this will be the last week for your son. Just think it is still better then being away at college for a few years. I hate good-byes myself it might be a better idea to stay home like you said. Use the week to do things for you. You do so much for others that you forget yourself. Remember we all have to put ourselves first. We tend to think that is being conceited but it really isn't. It is the only way we will get what we want out of life. When we are happy and healthy we can do more for everyone including ourselves.
Yes I went to the nutritionalist yesterday. I started my new plan today. I am eating plenty. I am full at every meal. I am stuffed from dinner and I still have to eat popcorn yet to get all my food in. She isn't making me eat the amount of calories I really need because It is an adjustment to just eat this much. When I am on plan normally I eat less so she met me 1/2 way (her decision not mine) and put me at 1800 cal a day. When you are eating all the right foods it is a lot of food.
I will be fine with this plan. The only challange is lunch during the week. I had a 6" turkey bacon sub no cheese with mayo on wheat and a can of no sugar added peaches for lunch. So I will probably stick with subway for lunch. It is hard to get veggies at lunch time without bringing the canned veggies then I have to have so many carbs for lunch it is hard. So the easiest is to have a 6" sub everyday. Good thing I like the subway subs. Just ask Jerad.LOL

Not much else happening here same old same old.

I hope everyone else is having a great week. The boards have been quiet this week.

We had more snow flurries this morning and some places had a 3-5 inch accumulation. Better them then us. I hate snow and the cold and I am not ready for it. I should be living in florida with eleni.LOL
