Being off yesterday has thrown me off . It seems like today should be Sun since I did not work yesterday. But it makes the rest of week short.
If I can control the water I am hoping for a loss Thursday. I am slowly losing my bad attitude. Isabel is going to miss us but will still hit the US. 110 miles an hour is nothing to ignore.Suppose to make landfall tomorrow at 2pm. Hopefully it will do minor damage. Hope you are all enjoying this time of year. It is still hot here but nights are starting to cool off a little. Have a good day. Just stopped by to say hello |

We are both on the coast so I always worry about hurricanes. How is everyone else doing? I am still debating what to do. I have not been in TOPS for a couple years but the only one that is close here is not a supportive group. I am thinking about joining ww but I am not sure if I have the time to do the points system. I need some advice. The only other thing I have thought about is going to the Weight loss clinic and getting prefessional help through meds. I just don't think I can do this without some type of help..... Have a great day Penny |

Sorry you had to go through so much pain for your test. I am sure you were exhausted after that. Hopefully the new med will work and I am sure you are very happy about going off 2 meds. I know you would like to get off them all at some point. I am glad you are getting your good attitude back I knew you would. Your birds keep you busy don't they? Keep up the great work and stay healthy. Penny, I think you just need a lot of support daily from your friends. People to nagg at you and say hey girl get off your butt and do this. Without the right motivation and actually changing your lifestyle of eating patterns all the meds in the world won't work because you will put the weight right back on. As for time for the points system. Once you learn it or the exchanges it really doesn't take that long we are only talking like a min to write down what you eat. Keeping track of what you eat should be done anyway if you are to see how you are doing and it will make you more aware of what choices you are making. Get out your videos and start working out girl. It is cheaper then the gym and you don't have to find the time to get away. Think about it. Everything here is good. Talk to you later. Sherri |
SUNNY HUMP DAY
Hi Everyone
How is everyone. I am doing so-so. Had a gain last night. Gained 1 3/4 lbs. Will have to work harder this week to get it off. Havent posted it yet on the Sept weigh in thread yet. But will. Not alot going on here. Washed 4 loads of clothes and hung them out. Hubby and son had to go help my Mom and Dad this morn. had a water line leak. Lucky it was close to the meter. So they didnt have to dig too far. But they will have a big water bill. Hubby had a eye appt yesterday. Had to do laser on his eye. Had a place it was leaking. Other than that not much going on. I am going to have a candle party Fri night. So will be getting ready for that. I just hope the rain holds off. But dont look like it. So hopefully its not to bad out. Other than that that is about all that is going on here. Just need to get my eating under control. Trying to keep busy. So hopefully I can get the 1 3/4 lb off by next week. I will have to drink alot of water and maybe that will help. Oh well. Well need to get off here. Will check in later. Have a great day everyone. A TOPS PAL |

The hurricane missed the east coast of FL, but we are getting some wind and rain :rain: today. It' kinda nice. The wind is cool and its pleasant to be outside. Eleni....Hope you are still feeling better. DH goes thru those stress tests every year. He is scheduled for one in Dec. The Dr. told him anytime from Oct. to Dec. and he chose to put it off as long as he could. He dreads it. Coco....Sorry about your gain yesterday, but I noticed that you have turtled for this month. If you have a loss next week, you'll finished the month with a loss. You go, girl. You can do it. Penny...It only takes a few minutes to keep account of your points or food journal. I know that you have a baby and 2 little boys but try to take a little time for yourself. You are worth it, girl. Be careful of taking meds to control weight. I have a dear friend who took "redux" a few years ago and now she has pulmonary hypertension and a problem with her heart. Its really serious and she has a law suit against the company that produced redux. She will always have trouble with her lungs and breathing. She uses oxygen part of the time. Summer....All that cold weather you had was on our news here. Hope it has been warming up for you. Its much too soon for cold weather. Sherri, Wanda and everyone, I'm thinking of you and hoping everything is going okay with you. Marilyn, have you started the challenge with Dr. Phil yet? I watched his show last night and it will be interesting to watch it over the next few months. I haven't done too well with my eating, the last few days. Once you get off plan a little, its easy to do it again and again. I was up about a pound this morning, but I have until Friday to take it off. I hope that I can. Well I did it! I joined ww. I paid online and I am going to my first meeting tomorrow night! I am getting excited about it and think I will get motivated again to start getting this weight off. I know I was 20 pounds lighter at this time last year. So I know I can do it! Thanks for the encouragement! I will let you know what happens tomorrow night! :)
