Shelby,

Glad to hear today is another new day for you. It is for all of us.
Looking at it as just losing 1 lb a week is great. It is recommened that we lose that much at a time but we all know that we want to lose it a lot faster if possible.LOL

Eleni,

How are you doing? I am glad the piano lessons are going so well. Seems like you are ready to play for us.

I ate too much yesterday. I am back today to counting points and measureing again. I don't want to let it get away from me. The scale was up today but I will get it back from today on. I know I really have to get to at least 22 pts a day. I am really not hungry most of the time. My stomach is sick a lot but nothing too extreme. Makes it good I am not feeling like I am starving all the time. Helps keep me under control. I know my acid is really acting up. I have to get an appt in oct to go back and see him about that.

Nothing else happening here.

I will check in later.

Hello Ladies, Hope you all had a safe Labor Day and are ready to have a 'losing' month!

Sherri, Sounds like you are getting back on track today and it is good that you are aware of the point range you need to be at to lose. Food is just soooooo tempting and I loved your post the other day. It is so true that it all boils down to US.....Only I can do it......no matter how much support I get, If I'm not ready or willing, it isn't going to happen. We can't blame others. It is just nice to know that we aren't alone....others have the same struggle. Thanks for the 'words of wisdom'. We constantly need to be reminded of that.

Eleni, Take care of you. I worry about your health so much and it must be such a horrible struggle knowing that if you lost some weight, it would make you feel better all around.......but it is SO HARD to do. I can relate just a little to my back and knees, but what do I do???? Continue to sabatoge myself and gain. There really are some 'hidden' reasons.....wish we could figure them out and get healthier. How do we get that mindset back?? I feel your struggle and pain. We will persevere and move forward

Nita, yep, fall is definitely in the air. No snow around us yet, but a higher peak, Mt Evans, closer to Denver had 3 inches the other morning. They had more moisture in that area than we did, thankfully. It was 26 degrees one morning last week when dh left for work. I would love to have your extra 20 degrees!!! The wedding sounded lovely and I'm glad you had a wonderful time. Congratulations to your granddaughter!! Do you have any great-grandchildren?

Shelby, welcome to the board. Please join us on the daily thread. Always nice to have new people join in. A few of us have been on here for quite awhile and we are a nice extention to our chapters and some [like me] get more support here.....just like family.

Christie, sounds like you are doing well on WW. Do you still go to TOPS or just WW? Keep up your great work!!!!!

Coco, how are you doing? Did your area captain present a program to your chapter? Just wondering because I know that TOPS, Inc sent them one on 'roadsigns' and how we can think of proper eating by looking at certain signs along the roadside. I had fun with that one.

Hope everyone else is doing well. It's another new month. Time to brush aside last month if we gained and think about getting healthier before the year ends. Take care and don't forget to drink water.......our bodies need it so badly as it is used in every function it does.

Hey girl I missed you. I am glad you posted. Yes you are right it is up to you. You have it in you to get your motivation back. Start by taking one day at a time and one meal at a time. You certainly have enough things to keep you busy during the day so that you don't eat between meals. The problem is that those things are keeping your brain busy. Try doing some new things or just do your regular stuff in a different way so that you have to think about it. I have found that the more we keep our brains busy the less we eat. We are busy focusing on something else and don't think about eating. It doesn't work just keeping the hands busy because our brains are still saying "feed me, feed me".LOL I know it is going to be hard around your house again with everyone there. Set up a routine for yourself. You will get through it and you will get your motivation back. Don't think about the weight. Think about living each day to its fullest. That is what life is supposed to be about. When you start to really live and laugh you will find you will be eating less automatically.
I know you can do this girl. Look at the angel in the morning and blow away all your worries and start fresh with a clear mind.

I had a good day on plan today. Stayed within my points today. I also excercised this morning as well.
I called the dealership I was working with before and the owner said that he has a van for me that he thinks he can make the numbers work with. He just took it in on a trade. All I know is that it has the 2 slider doors like I want and it is blue. Don't even know what kind it is. He is going to work the numbers for me tomorrow so I should know something soon.
Tomorrow is a big day for megan. I have to take her to school to meet her teacher and to find her classroom. We have to be there from 2:00 - 3:00. I am only working for a few hours in the morning. Was going to take it off but I forgot to remind the boss and he forgot about it. So I have to go in. No big deal at least I won't miss this. She starts school on thursday. She is getting nervous.
Got a new med to try for my acid reflux. It is Zantax. I have to take 300 mg a day then call him back in 2 weeks to let him know how it is working. If it works then he will write me a prescription. I got it over the counter tonight. It is a lot of pills to take for that one med, 8 pills a day. I feel like I am a drugstore with all the pills I take.
Well I am going to hit the sack I am tired I will check in on you guys tomorrow.

Hello Everyone!
I am not on much lately, but I think of you and sometimes I read awhile if I don't have time to post. Maybe when the weather gets cooler I will be in the house more. (And on the computer more.)

I do think about you all and hope that you are staying op.

I know what a chore it is sometimes to stay op. I have not done well this past week. When I wasn't feeling well, I just ate what sounded good. And that can be a disaster!!! But am still below goal.

I hope you all had a good and safe holiday week end. It was rainy and cooler than usual here and we did nothing, which was really good!

Take care of your selves, and know that I am thinking about you even if I'm not gabbing every day.
