Hi Ladies
Just was checking in. Well the carnaval went well last night. Son got to ride in the new fire truck. He wasnt suppose to get to ride. Was to stop traffic. But they let him. Guess cause he is a new memeber. Then he helped with the games and setting up. They got a call. At least it was after the parade. A car wreck. Son got to help get the lady out of the car. He looks real handsome in his gear. Tonight is the last night of the carnaval. Dont know if hubby and I will go or not. Went last night. Depends on the weather. Said there is a chance of rain. So we will see.
Not alot happening here. Son and hubby are at my Mom and Dads. I am washing clothes. Dont seem like I get much else done when I do clothes. Hung some out. So will have to keep a eye out for rain. In fact it is starting to cloud up a little now. So will just watch.
My sister is having a candle party tomorrow afternoon. So I guess i will go to that. Dont care to much for these candles. I would rather have Home Interiors candles. I think they smell better.
Is everyone staying OP. I didnt do as well as I should have or could have yesterday. Today my goal is to drink my 8 glasses of water. So will have to get to drinking. I got a couple in. Well I better get off here. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing. I am thinking of each one of you. Hoping that you are staying OP. And hope everyone has a loss next week. A TOPS PAL

Hi Everyone,

Well, I'm kind of late tonight, reading the new messages and posting, but we have had a busy 2 days. We went to a street party last night in 'downtown' Titusville. Titusville is a small town at the entrance to the space center and they routed traffic around and closed off the main downtown streets. They had some bands playing and dancers. On one end of the street a bluegrass band was playing. They sang songs such as 'Country Roads', 'Rocky Top' and other familiar popular songs. They were very good. We walked down to the other end of they block and they had karoke, with some of the locals trying to sing their favorite songs. They had a lot more going on, we walked around for a couple of hours and come on home.
Today, I got up at 6:30 and went walking. Later in the morning, DH and I went shopping in a nearby city. Then DH had a measuring for his tux for the granddaughters wedding. Then, I, DIL, and 2 granddaughter went shopping. I didn't find anything, but both GD's found nice dresses. We ended up having dinner out and didn't get home until almost 10 PM. It's been a long, but pleasant day.
I did end both days up with a little more than 1200 calories each. So I feel like I have stayed OP.

Coco..I'm glad that everything went well with the carnival and it wasn't rained out. Good luck with staying Op this week. We can do it.

Summer...It's good to have you posting again. And to hear that you are back at your meetings.The weight is so easy to put on and so hard to take off. It just doesn't seem fair.
Is it getting cool in the Colorado Mountains yet? Here in FL, even our nights are hot and muggy, (thank God for AC), but I know in the mountains the temperature drops at night.

Well, I didn't mean to write so much, and I'm getting sleepy:yawn: , so I'll sign off for the night.
