Wednesday
Well i'm doing ok. I walked yesterday durning my lunch, and this morning i got up and folded clothes and put dishes away. I'm still fighting the exercise thing. It's like i can't move till i get my shower in. I went to bed at 9:30 and up at 4. Got out of bed at 4:20 and hit the shower. I was going to work out, but i did house cleaning instead. I think my motivation is slowly coming back. I got in about 1200 calories yesterday and 30 grams of fat. I'm going to try and get between 1200-1400 in a day. I'm having an egg for breakfast, and forsure green beans for lunch, will have some little things in between. Hubby is making dinner tonight, a baked whole wheat pasta thingy. Not sure how to count the calories, when adding the meat. 1 pound of hamburger, and then the pasta and sauce. I will figure something out.

Good Morning Everyone
I guess Wendy and I are the early birds today. I didnt get up at 4:00 am. But did get up early. Then I couldnt go back to sleep. So I just got up fixed my coffee and got on here. Hoping to see some post. Well had weigh in last night. Lost 3/4 lb. Not much. But will take it. After the weekend I didnt figure I would have a loss at all. My hands and ankles still seem a little swelled. Have been drinking my water. But it also has been a little humid here. Well I chapter is doing two different things. We are in a challenge with another group. We are to see who can exercise the most between June 1 and sometime in Aug. But what I dont understand nobody had said it had already started so now some will be 2 weeks behind. Then the other thing they are doing. Everyone is to exercise for 20 minutes for the next 77 days. Then they came up with the idea to do a weekly basket of low fat stuff. Then whoever exercises the most in the week wins the basket. But there is 2 ladies who will win every week. One has been walking 23 years and walks 4-5 miles a day. The other does a piliates class and then walks. So they decided since these two would win every week. You could only win once this summer. So this way maybe everone has a chance to win. This starts this week. But one lady said that isnt fair to the two that excerise. Everyone else should work out like them. But then someone brought it up. Not everyone can walk 4-5 miles a day and do the other things. The lady didnt like it that well. So then she suggested everyone work out a hour a day. That didnt go over very well either. So they decided to do 20 minutes a day. There is few in our group that are elderly. And they cant excerise alot. And for some of us starting out. It would be hard. Oh well. Then they wanted to rise our gainer fines from 10 cents to a quater a pound. And then on a holiday weekend it would double. But that didnt go over very well. So that was our meeting. Well sorry I wrote a book. Just got on here and started ramblin. FLGAL Hope you have a great op day. Mine was the pits yesterday. But am going to get back on track today. I feel kind of lost these few weeks. Everytime I think that I am getting organized something happens. I missed my meeting this week because my stepmother's father died. He was 86 and had a good life. He was totally healthy up until the last few months. Just when we are trying to get organized the night before the funeral My 2 year old has blood in her stool and mucusy blood coming out of her bum and down her legs. Spent 4 hours at the hospital and we were no further along. Her blood work is fine, no sore belly, she is running around like usual. Took her to the dr the next day and took in some stool samples to the lab. She may have a small fissure that opened. Kids, eh! If it is not one thing then it is another. Causes stress though. Needless to say between the kids and 11 days left of work, I have not been focusing on my eating. I haven't gained but I am not losing either. I need to get going again. I am going to try to journal starting today. And drink my water. Sherri - I am glad to see that the party went well even though it rained. I hate the clean up though. Hi Everyone
I typed in a message about 8:30 this morning and then lost it, something about the database malfunctioning. I didn't have time to retype it then, my friend and I were going shopping. We didn't find much to buy, but we looked. Have any of you been watching "What not to wear" on BBC? The girls are a little harsh, but they give good ideas on the type of clothing different figures should wear. I don't get to watch it often because DH doesn't like it. I'm hoping that I can lose enough weight to buy new size clothing, and I like some of the tips. Coco.....Congrats on the weight loss. You did good. You are well on your way to reaching your monthly goal. Keep working toward your goal and you'll be there soon. Glad that you are back on track today. Our chapter has some of the same problems with contests and incentives. It's very hard to find a way to be fair to everyone. We try to discuss it and agree on the rules that we set and just abide by the rules. Wendy...I'm glad that you are getting motivated again. 1200 to 1400 calories a day is good. It's about what I have been doing. Sometimes, after weigh-in or on a weekend day when DH is home, I'll go over my calorie allowance, but most of the time I stay around 1200. I'm trying harder this week because I want to see a bigger loss and I agreed with Coco and Sherri to stay OP this week. On the casserole dish your hubby is making, count all the calories in the ingredients and divide them by the number of servings. I purchased a cookbook for the computer with Master Cook on it that figures all the calories and nutrition data for me. Linlin.....Hope that your daughter is doing okay and that the drs. don't find anything seriously wrong. Let us know when you find out. I guess that was pretty scarey. Congrats on the losses, Wanda and LaDean. Keep up the good work. I hope that everyone is having a good week and good luck on your weigh-ins this week. Nita |
