The boards have been very quiet the last couple of days. I guess there isn't much to talk about. I've been busy too. I've been trying to get the yard in better shape before it gets so hot.

Does anyone know where to get some of those cute animated clip art. Since this board has been so quiet, I've been reading some of the other boards. I saw some using a scale and another that had a walking stickman. I put in a search, but so many came up that I just couldn't find anything like that. I'm sure there must be some programs that I could buy that would do the same thing.
Any suggestions?

I'm still OP and hoping for a loss this week. Hope you are all doing good and will be in the black at this week's weigh in.

I'm around, just very busy. Getting ready for my Workshop Saturday and making up a bunch of the bingo game cards that Eleni sent a sample of months ago. I'm doing them all by hand [since I'm too dumb to use the computer like it should be used] and they are time consuming but we should have fun. Still have 11 more to do and I'm running out of time along with everything else I need to do. In regards to the clip art, I am clueless, sorry.

It is snowing today and it ruined my workshop 2 years ago too. Spring snows are no fun to drive in...........so I'm hoping it won't be too bad in a few days...............even tho moisture [snow] is predicted for the rest of the week. Nita, you are doing so well and I am proud of your accomplishment!!!!!!!!

I was doing fine till yesterday...........and then I blew it royal. I know I will have a gain tonight and I feel so 'defeated' again. Man, why is this so hard??? Of course, we never give up.....or things would be worse.

Eleni, I too passed up the marked down holiday candy........but the cookies called my name too loudly. Not pretty .... and you know what happened. Felt like $@%# after.

It has been busy and I haven't been eating right. I took both kids to an ear specialist since they both have had some infections this winter. The lady who did the hearing test was brutal, the dr immediate solution was to put in tubes and the x-ray tech was in too much of a rush to do the pictures correctly and I had to go back yesterday. I saw the pediatrician this morning and told her I wanted a second opinion. I am going next Tues with them to McMaster Hospital. It a good one here. About 1 hour away. Then I have to go to the pediatrician again on Wed. Some I need a few days off work to do all of this. Also the little one has decided to hop out of the crib so I am shopping for a new bed right now. Trying to juggle too many things.

I missed my meeting last night because I had an very stressful day at work ( I won't go into the details) and was trying to get the bed thing solved.

Starting today I am journaling again and hopefully it will help.

Hi Ladies
How is everyone. Everyone must be busy. Not to many posting. Hope everyone is doing ok. Not a whole lot happening here. Got our hair cut today. Washed some jeans and hung out. Was going to do more. But it is kinda cool. So not sure if they would dry good. Suppose to be warmer tomorrow. So will wash and hang things out tomorrow.
Well I gained 2 3/4 this week. I knew I would. I didnt stay for the meeting just weighed in. Hubby didnt go. He was tried. He had been up since 3:00 am and had rode for 6 hours. Hubby, son and my Dad went on a little trip. Just one day. Makes hubby pretty tried to do that. But took son to check out a welding school. The guys stopped and ate. And hubby didnt stay on his diet the Dr put him on. But he is doing good today. I am going to follow it also.
Got a question. On the April weigh ins I was trying to change my color I was typing in. Well I changed it. But it kept going on to the next line. It wouldnt go where it was suppose too. So i just did it in black. How do I change the color and make it go where I want it to.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone had a nice Easter. Today was my first weightin after the holiday and I was surprised that I stayed the same ( even after all the jelly beans that I ate). Hopefully next week I will have a lost. well not much happening here.

As far as I know, you have to click on colour, a second window comes up, you type in it.

It puts what you typed at the bottom of your post, then you have to copy and paste it to where you want and then cut it from the bottom of the page.

If there is a better way let me know.

Just wanted to say Thank you to Baylee and Linlin. Thanks for explaining how to change the color. I will give it a try sometime. Hopefully I will figure it out. Dont know to much about these computers.

I was confused with all the cutting pasting writing this and writing that I had to check it out. It really is very simple. Click in color and pick out color.Write your message in window that comes up and hit ok. Same for font and size.
Linlin I tried to go to that web site and I don't think the whole address is there. It doesn't go like it should.Could you post it again.

Been thinking about going back to Ontario, but with the SARS advisory today, we can't chance it with my daughter and her susceptabilities. I have a dear Aunt celebrating her 60th jubilee at the Waterdown convent in May. Haven't seen her in 35 yrs....what a surprise that would be!! Good luck with the 'escape artist' and the medical exams.

The address that Linlin gave should read www.google.com It's a search engine, I have used it but couldn't find what I wanted. There is about 10,000 clip arts out there and that is too much for me. I also tried "Ask Jeeves" and found some very interesting things, like a talking pedometer that counts steps and sells for $15. I might get that sometime.

Summer, good luck with your workshop. I guess you are getting very tired of snow by now. We have been having cooler weather this year than normal, but its just right for me. I blew my diet yesterday, also. I allowed myself to get too hungry and then ate too much of the wrong things, but I have more time to work it off, than you do. Hope your weigh in tonight is still black.

Coco, I use the same method that Eleni uses for the different colors, unless I decide later that I want to insert it in a paragraph already written, then I put it on the bottom and use the cut and paste method. I know it is confusing, but just work with it some and you'll do great.
