I went to my 2nd TOPS meeting last night. I am feeling hopeful ~ and really think that this is going to help me. Knowing that I had to face that scale kept me from eating some stuff I shouldn't.

Because of my work schedule, I can only attend every other week. There are other groups here in town that meet on other days and times, and I found one that I could attend on the opposite week. I felt it would be helpful to me to be able to weigh every week. I asked the leaders about doing that and was disappointed to be told that that can not be done. They said because of the records they keep and all that I couldn't do that.

I guess I just don't understand why that would not be possible.

I know you cannot belong to 2 chapters, but you may be able to take a 'travel chart' with you to the other chapter. If I were you, contact your Coordinator for N.Carolina and ask her. If you don't know who she is, go to the www.tops.org site and click on 'locator'. Her name will appear when you follow instructions. Please let us know what she tells you.
