Well ladies, yesterday my scale was down about 3 pounds, however, it is back up today. Not a gain, just so far a turtle. Man those bad carbs can really do it to ya can't they. Not drinking enough water either, so that is my goal for today. Water, after I open my eyes enough with the coffee. I know I can do this thing, and it makes me mad that the scales made that much of a difference in one day. Well I haven't talked to the parents all weekend, and I know yesterday they were in Meijers, but you think I could find them. I will call them today.
We are planing on washing the camper, and starting to load it today. Five days left, and we are vacation bound. I have my niece walking every morning with me. I hoping I can get a lot in. I'm going to email her today, hopefully she will get it sometime this week. Tell her to really push the walking for me.
sherri-sorry to hear you aren't preg. yet, but i know what you want so hopefully it will work out for you. Remember not to over do the exercising. You will be fine. I'm glad you are staying with the group, cuz you are making a difference. The ones that are staying want more. Just remember that everyone has to want this within themselves.
Christie-you have to tell us how the vacation went.

How is everyone doing. These boards haven't been busy this weekend, hope you are all having fun, and not overdoing it like I have been. Like Sherri-this is a startover day for me as well.
We bought a new digital camera over the weekend. We have been talking about getting a camera for 3 years. I love it. Still learning how to use it. :dizzy: It's fairly easy, however they do have some things on there that we really aren't sure about. The next thing we have to buy, i guess with out the goal reaching for the hubby is a kiyak. The guys are going on another weekend, in Aug. and he has to have one by then, cuz that's all they are taking. Hubby seems to think if I got into one of those things, that I would love it. So someday we are going to check it out. I told him if I got one it will be my altimate goal reward. I want one that doesn't weigh a lot, and i saw one on the net, a kids size that only weighs 37 pounds. So we will see. Well ladies, I'm babbling. Got some things to do, i wil check on you all later. Hugs, and we can do it.
ps. When i just typed the goal portion of this thing (my reward), I reallized in someways i haven't done that in a while. I did the big thing of joining curves, but i've been leaving out the small ones. I have a tendency like most moms out there of putting my needs on the back burner. I guess you could look at the camera as a reward, but to me that is a family thing. I have to start making small goals again, my problem is I forget about them. I always shoot for the stars, and forget, or don't keep at it. So maybe i can start making some small goals here, and seeing how I do.

Good morning all. I am back from Savannah and it is good to be home. The scale is up but I think it is manageable. It is up 6# which may sound like a lot but for being away it is not bad. It could have been much worse. I have been know to gain 5# over night. Who knows why the scales can go up so fast so quickly.
I am going to try to get back on track right away. I did a few laps first thing this morning. I did a lot of walking while away but not enough for food I ate. So it is back to real world. Since the boards are slow it means 1 of 2 things. Everyone is busy or a lot are struggling. I know I hate to come here when I am not doing good as like now. I am always afraid I will drag everyone down with me. But S--- happens. We all have a lot of "Start Over" days. But that is better than "I give up" days.
It is hard. I was embarrased about my weight several times on vacation and reminded how it messes my life up. Many things I can not do because of weight. So I can not give up. Even if it would be easier in some ways. hang in there. We will all do this in our own time

Wendy,

Stop beating yourself up girl. You have a loss every week. You are doing great. Just because you had one bad day doesn't mean you ruined everything.
You hang in there. I am with you I don't think I would get in a kyack either. Just do what you know to do and the scale will be nice to you again. Start over like the rest of us.

I know what you mean about being embarrassed by your weight. It happens to me to. I hate being this weight. That is why I get so mad at myself like wendy and the rest of us do. But beating ourselves up is not the answer. You can be good the rest of the week and come in with a turtle I know you can. You can do it. Just put your mind to it.

We had a yardsale yesterday and today. I didn't sell everything but we made over 80.00 so I was happy with that. We will put it back up next week until I have everything sold. I hope it all goes soon. I hate just sitting there waiting for people to come. It is boring for sure.

I am doing very well on my start over day. We will see what the night brings. I am back to curves in the morning.
