I am packed and ready to leave for SRD this afternoon. I am looking forward to it. It is always an inspiration. If I can get my lapptop to work I will be checking in. If not I will check in on Sunday. later:) :wave:

Hope everyone is doing ok. ELENI Hope you have a good time at SRD. I know I went year before to ours. It was ok. It was kinda unorganized. But it was nice. I liked the Circle of Light. Our SRD is next month. SHERRI Are you feeling better. Hope so. Sounds as if you are doing great with your eating and exercise. Keep up the good work. SHORTSTACK. How's your little boy and pup? Sounds as if you are doing a good job of being OP too. To everyone else Hope you have a good day. Well tonight is our weigh in. Not looking forward to it. Pretty sure I will have a gain. I will be glad when the weather clears up enough so I can walk outside. I like the bike. But I would rather walk. So we will see. Tonight we have our Spring Banquet. could of been better.
Good morning. Home again. Brandon is running a fever, and has an ear infection. First one ever. He is all stuffed up. Didn't get much sleep last night. Dr. also changed his medicine for his asmha ( i know that isn't correct, but cant think of it this morning). Yesterday picked him up at daycare and thought he might be getting pink eye, too. the doctor thinks we caught it in time that we don't have to put drops in it. Went and weighed in I thought for sure I was going to have a big loss. Only .25. I guess I will take it. But apparently i'm not being totally honest with myself with the food. Need to keep track better. I'm starting the bfl challenge today. We also had a speaker last night from an area gym and I asked her some of the questions and about routine on it, and she said what they said. She also gave us exercises for us that we could do at home. i really want to do this. I have the desire in my heart. I just need a burning fire. Pup is doing good, except for chew our cords. Coco how is yours. I know you can have a loss tonight coco. Hang in there.
CC- I'm glad your speech went well, told you that you would have them laughing. I'm proud of you. sherri- I'm proud of you too. Well coco what happened tonight girl. I am dying to know. Did you lose? You will do great this week. Just get back to doing your writing and you will be fine. Wendy, I say a loss is a loss no matter how small. I know we always want it to be more but at least you lost. It is still getting you closer to goal girl. You can do this. You know you are not writing everything down and STOP EATING THE JUNK FOOD.LOL I am glad you got some ideas from the person last night about the training. At least they could show you how to do some things. Between you and penny I have enough exercises to last me a life time. But it is great to get the info. It is nice to have a lot to choose from. So I can mix up my routine and not do the same exercises all the time. Christie wanted me to tell you all that her computer is now dead. She can't even get on it at all. They need to fix it or get a new one. So she doesn't know what she will do. She is sure she will have a loss this week. She is doing great also with the eating she isn't exercising. She is very busy with her tupperware having parties and such. She said she really misses us and can't wait to get back online again. I am doing great for yet another day. I didn't have all my fruit today because I had 3 tacos for my dinner and I measured out everything and split it up between the 3 of them. I didn't get as many veggies either but I got them throughout the day though. I am watching my points very closely. I ended the day with 21 pts. which is right in my range. I did do my cardio workout today. 1 1/2 mile power walk. Hopefully my scale will be down tomorrow because I didn't do any strength training today. But I feel smaller and it is a great feeling. I am doing this one day at a time. I am writing down everything that I am doing from eating to exercise to my day off. It is really working. Now I just have to keep it up to get to goal.LOL I will. I am very proud of myself. I think someone had said here one time that strength training makes your muscles retain water. That might be why the scale goes up when we do it. I am glad I am taking a break in between the upper and lower workouts like I am supposed to so that it gives the scale a chance to come down. I have to remember that even if I don't have a loss from week to week I am doing great and all the right things and it will come down. That I CAN'T GIVE UP! I won't give up this time for sure. I hope you all have a great night. We are doing awesome ladies lets keep it up. CC, How are you doing on the challange so far? You were supposed to start yesterday. I think setting the 12 challange for ourselves is great. We are planning to do everything right for that amount of time. If we all make it through 12 weeks of losing and doing the right thing it will help to guide us in the right direction to staying healthy. It will be easier to make great choices after doing it for 12 weeks straight. We are forming healthy habits. My dad always said if you want to change a habit then do something for 30 days and after that it will be a habit. We will see what happens. I have never gotten to day 30 with this yet.:lol: :dizzy: But I will this time. Sherri |

G'day Everyone,
I just wanted to drop a line and say "Hi" I am not a member of TOPS, but I am a member of the Aussie version called TOWN (Take off weight naturally) I wasn't aware of the truth of TOWNs creation until a few weeks ago, apparently some girls from Victoria Australia, holidayed in the US and brought back the ideas and the traditions of TOPS to Australia. As I am a recently new member of TOWN, I am not sure exactly how many clubs there are in Australia. I think it is so far only Victoria ;) :dizzy: We say the pledge "I am an intelligent person"etc and that alone has saved me from doing what I ought not to be doing:lol: I have become addicted to buttons, and I look forward to next year when I can go to our version of State awards. Well anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say "G'day, I will check on the notice boards regularly, and I hope to talk to you all soon. If it is to be it's up to me Take care Puddin:) |

Welcome. That is great that your friends brought back the idea to your town. I love the new term town. For me TOPS is wonderful. It is a great group. As long as people contribute you end up with a great chapter. There is so much help and devotion and love here on this board. You are welcome to stop here anytime. We are all in this together and we are there for oneanother in the good times and the bad. Good luck on your journey. We are all on a journey here. Some that are almost to goal and others that are quite a ways away. But we will all get to goal someday with the determination we have in our hearts and by never giving up on ourselves. Did you know that TOPS is an INTERNATIONAL organization??? Chapters can be started in any country, as far as I know. Why don't you go on www.TOPS.org and see about contacting the organization about how to do this.
Colorado is hosting the International Recognition Days in July. What an experience that will be!!! I would love to see some Aussies added to our wonderful group of members. We have a great little monthly magazine that gives success stories and other info. TOPS can offer some great support to your group of ladies. PM [private message] me if I can be of more help to you.
