  • GOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOORNING!!!!

    Well, I am typing this with freshly manicured nails a hair extension and a henna tattoo and eyebrows that are a tad to skinny for my taste. I think the pamper me night was a big success and I will definately go again next year. I had my hands waxed and massaged, did a mini yoga class, had my hair put up, had a reflexology reading, lip therapy, and there where many more things I would have liked to have tried. I also avoided the cheesecake altho there where 18 different types to choose from! I could not resist the chocolate covered strawberries and enjoyed every last bite. Stepped on the scale this morn just to make sure I hadn't done irrepairable damage and I am down 1/2 a lb from last weigh in. So I survived this week even tho I was seduced by cheddar and chocolate.

    How was everybody else's weekend?

    Coco, have you tried a brace for your knee ? You can pick up a tensor brace almost anywhere, Walmart, drugstores etc and they work very well. I injured my knee in high school and wear one to kickboxing and when doing squats and lunges. I think the cost was around $7.

    Summer I am getting closer, knock off another 14 miles and water that coffee tree! I also did the mile and a half in under 13 min, not too shabby for an old girl. I should reach your house around next Jan. Please have a big fire going!

    Sherri, thanks for the crock pot suggestion, I have one and forgot all about it. I have frozen tons of stuff and am almost to the point of easy dinners but the crock pot makes excellent stews and chicken dinners.

    Well must strip the beds, vacumn and workout so I can do coffee this afternoon. I also have a friend coming into town in April so that is another wonderful thing to look forward too.

    [COLOR=blue]well good morning all. today is a good day. So far the scale is down. Woke up this morning, after eating breaksfast a little under the weater. But not bad.
    We have our elections tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.

    CC- it sounds like you had a wonderful evening. What a great reward for yourself. You deserve it, you have been doing awesome.

    It's really weird that we were thinking about the same thing, on the ww, and the sb plans. To make sure we get enough food in. We have to do that.
    I know you can make it without having a cheat day. Take it one day at a time.

    I think I may have solved my problem (partially at any rate)
    I made a huge salmon fillet for supper tonight and I poached it in tinfoil with a little white wine and lemon and cracked peppercorn. As I was folding up the edges of the tinfoil my horizons expanded! I did up a few chicken and pineapple packs, chicken and mushroom sauce packs and a few thai chicken packs and tossed them in the freezer. I am reasonably sure that if I put them in the oven frozen along with the family meal during my lunch break and set the timer on my oven I can have dinner at the same time as every one else in my house. Think it will work? I sure hope it works!

    Sounds like you did have a pampering night afterall. You go girl. Maybe you don't have to wait until next year. Why not have a party of your own. I would come if I lived closer.LOL The you can get pampered again.
    That is great that you are down again this week. It is awesome you are doing great. You will be at goal in no time. How much farther do you have to go anyway? Keep up the great work.

    By the way Wendy is looking for a cool screen name can you come up with one for her? I told her that you were good at those kinds of things.LOL I told her to make it catchy but I didn't have any ideas to give her for a name.

    You are right. That is weird how we were thinking the same thing. But you know what they say great minds think alike. Right girl? You are doing great to keep up the great work. How was the chili tonight?

    As for me I have been doing a lot of thinking about what I have been doing. I have finally decided to take the plunge like CC and I know that I will never reach goal by having a cheat day. Also since I began the SB plan everytime I eat something illegal on that plan I get so hungry that I can't stop eating. I am a bottomless pit for some reason. Just like you are feeling Cocoa. So I have decided no more cheat days. If I want something that is not healthy I will work it into my points once in awhile. But I will stick to my points daily. I can do this. I am using the SB plan as plan B. I will eat the SB way whenever I can which is most of the time. But like tonight we went to pizza hut and it is impossible to eat the SB way there. So I stayed within my points and had the spaghetti instead of the pizza with a salad. So that was good. I ended up with 26 points for the day. My max is 29 so I did good. I did exercise for 30 min tonight also. So I am glad about that. I am working off my dinner that I had. I am still keeping the carbs low though. But for me I have to put the WW plan first and keep measuring and weighing everything in order to lose. But by doing the SB plan second I am getting rid of a lot of sugar in my diet so it will help me reach my goal. I have also added a soy/protein drink to my menu for my lunch from now on. I heard that the soy is very good for you. I read a lot about it before and it is very good for you. So I am trying it. So that is my lunch now. I know I can do this. There is no reason to go off plan and eat like a maniac once a week. If I want ice cream I will have a 3oz cup of it. Then I can count the points for it. So for now on I won't be eating a whole pint in one sitting. I am going to do this in moderation because that is the key to it all. I can't cut everything out 24/7 and by using the WW plan first I don't have to do that as long as I stay within my points.
    So I did great today on plan an I stayed within my points last night also.
    How did everyone's weekend go? Eleni what did you do? Christie how was the lasagna and the company last night? Summer where are you girl along with CoCoa?
