UPBEAT! all that is left is to
MEASURE! your SUCCESS!!

Good Morning Ladies!!

New day, new week, let's get to it!

I fell in love this weekend! I tried on a pair of Asics Kenyano's. OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh doggy!! They felt some good on my feet! But they were $199, so needless to say it is an unrequited love. I was at the Running Room, signing up for a running group, (this is in hopes I can do a 5k by the end of the summer) and of course they tested your gait and stance. Apparently I pronate (whatever that is) and the runners fix that. Well they have to wash floors and windows as well for that price. But just like at the jewelers, it's nice to look.

2 more days 'till my bud gets here! I can hardly wait to giggle again!

Have a great day and Maximize your potential, you marvelous minxes!

(minx-a pert girl)

Hello everyone,

Ah, another week towards our goals. Sorry I've been MIA, but life just gets too busy for me at times PLUS I am REALLY disgusted at our server. There have been a few days where there would be 'no answer' when I could sit down. I am truly amazed that I'm on right now. Only been able to do it at night.

CC - that will be nice your friend will be there soon. Hey, those are some Xpensive [lol] shoes!! Bet they did feel great though. Congrats on your continued losses and motivation. YOU GO GIRL!!!! You also do a tremendous amount of exercise and I know that helps!!! Sorry about the job, but I'm sure there is something better around the corner. Thanks for the PM...deeply appreciate it.

Eleni - Thanks for the call, you always put a smile on my face. Glad to see that you had a loss last week also. You have stayed on the down side and that is WONDERFUL! Keep that beautiful chin up.

Sherri - WOW, you are ROCKIN' now!!!!! I don't know if I could do the buckwheat pancakes either. When I hear 'Buckwheat', I think of Spanky and our Gang, and can only see that cute little guy. LOL! Hope Megans face is doing better....poor babe. Golly, hope she doesn't end up with nightmares of that cornstalk attacking her!

Mickey - I will be going to IRD, maybe we could meet each other. Would be nice if others could go also. Colorado Springs is a beautiful cily and there are so many touristy things to do.....and just even drives up into the foothills or mountains are so majestic and peaceful. I was raised in Michigan and fell in love with the mountains 25 years ago, so here I am. Hope you are doing well.

Nita - been thinking of you and hope you are taking care of yourself. It is so hard having an ill family member, I know firsthand being a full time care giver to my daughter. Hope the chemo isn't too hard on your husband.

Coco - When I get that urge for something, I try to reach for a protein, like an egg, piece of meat, cheese etc. That satiates me better than a fruit. I have a hard time with sugars making me want more sugar and fruits are simple, natural sugars.....so I end up wanting more. Wish they helped me like they do Christie. Our bodies are so different, that's why not all eating plans work for everyone.

Christie - Looks like you are doing well too!! You'll be back at goal in no time....YAHOO!!!

Me, I'm doing OK, but still need to eat better. Started journaling my food yesterday to be more aware of what I am doing. The bike riding has been going well. I will post these on the 'goal' thread. Only missed Saturday last week. DD and I went to see the snow and ice sculptures in Breckenridge. The winning team was from Canada....OH CANADA, How I miss thee and my relatives. She and I have made this a 'mother-daughter' day for at least the past 7 years.

Must go.....and to everyone else, you know you are wished the best....oh, and we can't forget those {{{{{{{{{{VIBES}}}}}}}}}!!!!! Have a wonderful rest of your day.

TOPS Hugs,
Summer

HI

Hi everyone
Hope everyone had a good Mon. Been snowing here. And very windy. Didn't get much snow. Just some snow showers. Been trying to stay on plan today. Still am wanting to pick. I ate several pieces of pepper (bell). Don't know for sure how many. But quite a few. Also used grape tomatoes. They are sooo good. I rode my exercise bike 2 miles today. I know that is not alot. But for me. That is. I haven't been exercising. I am going to try and do something everyday this week. In a way I am dreading Weigh in tomorrow night. I know I have been watching. But I don't feel that I lost anything. I feel kinda bloated. Must be the salt in the pickled califlower I have been eating. Been drinking my water. At least 64 oz. Some days I will get an extra glass or two. But I guess with all the water at least I am getting excersie. Going back and forth to the bathroom.

Summer
Thanks for the reply. I am like you. Sometimes if I eat something sweet. It is like it sets me on a binge. Then I will eat whatever I can get my hands on. Be it a sweet or not. Sometimes it don't bother to much. But espeically if I haven't had any thing sweet for awhile. Thats the hardest for me. I do believe I am wanting some cheese and crackers. So I thought if I can make it through today and tonight. I will have some tomorrow night after weigh in.

Well I hope everyone has had a good day. Hope everyone has a good night. Remember take just a little time for yourself. Be it a nice bubble bath or just reading a good book.
A TOPS PAL

Afternoon everyone....CC you sound so up. Good for you. How wonderful that your friend will soon be there. Just did a catch up read on the posts for over the weekend.

Eleni I know I would say quite a bit if I lost that big of a file of stuff I liked. EEk...

Coco - 2 miles sounds like a great accomplishment to me. Just think a short while ago you couldn't even do that.

Sherri I love your ideas of rewards but I will wait and see. So many times I have tried to go down this path and failed so even if I manage it even once that will be my reward.

I have stayed OP all week with only one day over but for the whole week I still was under enough. I weigh in tomorrow and I know I have lost something but I don't know how much. I just need the strength to keep going one more day and then one more day etc. I have been journalling but I have not been good about my exercising. Next week I will try and incorporate more of that.

Our groundhog did not see his shawdow here in Canada so spring should be just around the corner...:)

Hi to everyone and have a good week....

Hi ladies,

I had a big long thread going to each of you. But then my husband wanted me to check on the ebay item I am bidding on and I jumped over to that and lost it.

So I will just make this short for now.

Congratulations to all of you that have done great this week. We really are making changes in our lives for the better. We should all have losses this week.

I did mess up today and had a candybar that I shouldn't have had. But it is over and done with and I have moved on. I did do some floor exercises tonight and yesterday and did a 30 min workout for 2 days. I am waiting to take my measurments again to see if I have accomplished anything.

I really hope I have a great loss this week. I am trying so hard on this SB plan. But I think that I have to cut back on my carb intake. I know I am eating the right carbs but still I am having them for every meal. Maybe I can change that a little. Maybe have eggs (2 instead of 1) and toast on lite wheat. I know that bread would have less carbs in it then the oatmeal. But the oatmeal fills me up. Maybe I could just give up the carb at dinner. Either way I think that if I cut back on them it would give me fewer points. Eating this way I am getting more points in. I know it is healthier foods I am eating. But still I think I have to change something. I don't feel like I have had a loss either. But my size 16 jeans are getting looser. So that is a good sign. But I really need to see it on the scale. I get weighed in at the dr's office tomorrow so we will see what happens. I hope I have a loss there at least.
I am nervous because I didn't have a weigh in last week. I have no idea where I stand. I have really cut out the refined sugars in my life that is for sure. It has to help I know.

Hi! There is no way weight report from me again this week. Last week it was because I was and still am sick. This week it was because of the storm we had here on Monday.
