Hello Ladies,

Starting off my day with you nice women and a cup of coffee. What a way to go!!!!

Sounds like we are doing well....anywhere from hanging in there to...eating healthier....and exercising. WOO-HOO!

Sherri, you sound like you are really back on track and planning your eating strategies. Keep up the great work and you will have a loss this week....I know you will!!!

Coco, it's a shame that one person can have so much control over your meetings. That weight recorder should not be dictating when a meeting is adjourned. If she wants to leave, she can do so anytime....but not end it for the chapter. Meetings should include some sort of program every week....maybe that is why your chapter had a gain last year. The more we put into the meetings, the better will be for everyone. This is not just the leaders job, but everyone that is in the chapter. Our area captain visits once a year, but it could differ in your area. Your chapter could give her a call and invite her. They are always willing to be of assistance...and TOPS sends them cute programs to present to their chapters.

I did get out to walk yesterday for 45 minutes. It was so nice and warm...up to 30!!! Don't laugh, that is really warm for us at this time of year. It was nice to see some of the snow melting, but I know there is plenty more to come.

Gonna run, do laundry, try to read some newspaper and then go out for a walk again. Maybe today I'll remember to hop on the bike before I start a fire in the woodburner.:o Get's mighty hot in there.:lol: Have great day everyone!!!;)

It sure sounds like you are doing great. Are you enjoying your new schedule? Sounds like you are less stressed out. That is great. You needed it. That is great you have been walking and riding bike. You will be back at your goal weight in no time flat with the changes you have made. Keep up the great work and give melissa a big hug from me.

I have done great today. Last night I ended the day with 23 1/2 pts so that is great. I know the stirfry I had was loaded with sodium that is why I had it last night. It was very low in pts but now I have to drink the sodium out of my body then my weight will be back down again. I am continueing to do great with the WW and the SB plan. I have a new motivation to keep me going now. I am shooting for a trip when I get to goal. I can't wait. Me and my daughter will have a blast. We are leaving daddy home for the weekend. It will be girls time out. Megan is excited also. So I have to reach goal if I am going to go. So I am hoping that the SB makes me lose the weight fast so I can go ASAP. I am still reading my SB book. I have to skip over the boring stuff. I can't understand it myself. To technical for me. I hope to get to the SB plan part soon. I will skip to that part here in a few when I get done here. But I wan't to post first.

I know what you mean about the meetings. I took a huge leap and called and complained to both the coordinator (which never did anything about it. Never spoke to anyone.) Also to the Area Captain. I have not heard back from her and don't know if she ever did call anyone. It was very hard but because I told the leader what I did then this past week when she was not there the old leader made sure there was a program and we did have a meeting. So things might be changing. It isn't fair that we try so hard all week and then go there for the support and there is no meeting only rollcall. I know exactly what you are going through. Summer is right it takes everyone to make the chapter. We just have to stand up for what is right and make sure that the officers do their jobs. It might take a phone call by you to the area captain or a talk with your leader to change things. I am sure there are people that will be happy you did.
Keep up the great work with all your changes also. Now you haven't had chineese in a couple of days you should weigh yourself again. I bet you have lost those 6 lbs or at least most of it. That will keep you going I am sure. Chineese food always makes me gain at least 5 lbs overnight when I eat it because of the salt in it. But once the salt passes through your system then the weight will be gone.

Good Evening everybody.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I did. The sun was shining. No snow or rain. Didn't do much this weekend. Did go get the SB book. Been trying to read it. But alot I don't understand. Some I do. Did look ahead though to see what I was allowed to eat. HAHA. In the book it says there is a SB shopper guide. Gonna call the book store tomorrow and see if they have that. I fixed wheat noodles with chicken today. Not too bad. Hubby liked them. Son didn't like them. Ask do we have to eat this kind of stuff everynight. Told him yeap. Wasn't too happy. I think I may make Tues eve our splurge night. We weigh in on Tues. My son likes pizza. So maybe I will fix him a pizza. Has anyone made a pizza crust out of wheat flour?

Well I better get off here. Everybody keep up the good work. Hope everyone has a good Mon. Take care!!

Hey CoCo,

I think that is a great idea to have one night as a cheat night. That way you won't crave the foods you love all week. Seeing that you weigh in on tuesdays then it would be okay to make wednesday your cheat day. I way in on thursday and I make friday my cheat day. That way it doesn't effect my loss for the week because then I have the rest of the week to make up for it. I have always done this even when I was losing weight before and I still had losses every week. Some people don't like to do that because they have a hard time getting back on track the next day. But I have to do it. I like to eat what I really like one day a week. It makes it a lot easier for me to make it through the week knowing I can cheat on friday.

I have never made pizza dough so I can't help you out. I know I used the wheat flour to make the sugar cookies in the packet and they were gross. But that doesn't mean the pizza dough will come out bad.

Sounds like you are getting your whole family healthy that is great.

I can't understand the book either. I did get the SB pocket book you are talking about and it was only $3.99. So it was worth it to me to get it. It helps a lot that is for sure.

How did you do point wise today?

I did 30 min of aerobics today. I am going to get back to doing that every morning again. But not on wednesday. Too hecktic that day. But I will get in my 3 days this week which is what I wanted to do. So I am happy with that and I should have a great loss this week. I had a boiled dinner tonight and I had brown rice with ff gravy instead of the potatoes. This is the first time I have craved the potatoes. But I am going to have a salad here in a min as a snack with the FF french dressing I got.

We are on our way to leaner and healthier bodies ladies.

Hey eleni,

You should try the SB plan. You can eat and not have to starve yourself. I know you said you always get hungry when you lose weight. This way it will lower your sugar in your body and your cholestorol for your heart also.
