TOPS is a non-profit weight loss support group. I have brought up another thread so that you can read more about it.

TOPS stands for Take Off Pounds Sensibly.

Joining TOPS was one of the best things I did in 1995. Back then, my weight was at an all time high. I was in a local mini-market one Saturday and noticed a sign for a TOPS Open House. I had heard of TOPS because a friend of mine belongs to a chapter in the community she lives in. I decided to think about it for a week. The more I thought about it, the more I thought the only thing I had to lose was the weight. I joined that night and am currently the chapter secretary.
