Modified Serenity Prayer
 

Hi everyone, I just came across this in a book I am reading and had to share it.

God grant me the courage to change the things I can change, accept the things I cannot change, the wisdom to know the difference, and the will to take action.

That last part is definitely the hardest part for me at times....

I have a lovely mirrored stand up plaque that sits on my dresser with a different variation of the saying. It is called 'Prayer of Serenity'..... "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." With everything that I have to live with on a daily basis, I try to incorporate this into my lifestyle and thoughts.

Are there any other versions out there????
