Wink Sunday

Hello all, Today is catch up day for me. Wash clothes ,go to grocery store etc. We were gone all day yesterday watching my 3 grandson's do their Tai Kwon Do stuff. We enjoyed it but it was a loooooog day. Hope the pictures turned out. Being the proud Grandma that I am you know I will post one.
I am refineing my plan and even started using my exercise coupons today. I made myself 5 minute coupons to keep track of exercise. It is much easier for me right now to do 5 minutes at a time. I know the coupons sound silly but it was a tip I read about and I thought it was worth a try. I will try almost anything once if I think there is a chance it will help.
Gotta go. Boards are always slow on the weekend and that is really the way it should be. You should be out there with family and friends enjoying life. Life is too short to waste. That is why i am determined to get this weight off.

Hey Eleni,

Sounds like you had a great time with your daughter and grandkids as usual. I am so glad of that.
I am also so proud of you for taking control of your life and for having another turtle at least the scale isn't going up and that is a great thing. My scale did go up. The coupons sound like a great idea and that way you can keep track of how much you worked out for the day. They say that even 5 min at a time up to 20 mins a day will work as good as doing the 20 min all at once. Any way you can get in the exercise is great. I like you attitude and I am so glad that you haven't given up on you. I haven't given up on you and I am glad to hear the upbeat of your voice on the boards here this weekend.

As for me I had a busy weekend. I had my husbands surprise birthday party and he didn't even know. I finally surprised the man after 14 years. I was so excited. It was great and everyone had a great time. The dj did a great job and we didn't end the music until midnight. There was about 35 people out of the 40 that were there so that was a great turnout I thought and everyone and john had a great time. I danced the night away. I walked in the morning and this time put 1 lb weights on my ankles and walked then I danced all night and was hot and sweaty from that. Today is the first day in 2 weeks that I didn't walk. But I am getting back to it tomorrow. I might even go twice tomorrow. I am going to go a different route on the weekends when I walk by myself where there are hills. It is just in the opposite direction. But my sisters husband doesn't want her walking that way because he said she would get hit by a car. There isn't much traffic on that road but oh well. I will go by myself that way I am walking hills on the way out and on the way back. It should burn up more calories and add the weights and it will be great. I won't do it with the weights until I have walked it a few times though. I drove it with the car to measure out the 1.7 miles so I would know where to turn around and come back. I would be walking on one road only instead of 3 different ones.
I did great with food yesterday and with the cake I had a very small pc. and no frosting. But today I over did it and I am ready to get back again tomorrow. I am going to try and make it up so I have a loss this week. I really want a loss so we will see. I have to really work at it though.
How is everyone else doing?

Default Stick to it ladies!!

Just finished my workout (11:08 pm here). Very busy day here too, I am bushed but wanted to check in on the "positive vibe babes" before I hit the hay. Enjoy your weekend and good luck during the upcoming week.
