Tuesday
Good morning all Just a quick hello. I am experimenting with the time this morning to see if I can start getting up a few minutes later and still get to work on time. If I have no problems today I will try a few more minutes tomorrow.
I did swim a few laps yesterday. The pool was real warm. It was kinda hot and muggy all day. But that is ok as I hate to be cold. I will take the heat any day. i put my halloween decorations out on the table. Looks cute. Since I don't have kids at home anymore I have to admit they are up for me. We all have a little kids in us. My eating is not great but slowly getting better even if I did get into ice cream when I got home from work Yesterday (Sherri caught me:lol: ) But I had no 2nd helpings at supper so that is good. I figure every little bit helps. I sure hope so. i have to finish getting ready for work. Have a great day I am thinking about you all |

Glad to hear you didn't have any second helpings at dinner. That is a great start and yes every little change we make is going to help us eventually. We might not see it now but it is helping us get into better habits. We just have to keep doing those things on a daily basis and that is where the problems come in. I did okay today. I had more food then I wanted to but I stayed within my points anyway. My scale was up 4 lbs that I had lost but I know it is from all the cheese I had. I made a huge salad from the salad bar at the grocery store tonight for my lunch tomorrow and for my dinner to. It is very big so it should be filling. My husband already eyeballed it for himself and I told him not to touch it that it was mine for tomorrow. But then I ended up telling him that he could have it and that I would go back tomorrow and make myself one. So we will see if he takes it or not. I am going to start posting my food intake here. Hopefully if I have some junk food on my on plan days then maybe someone will get on my case about it. I have to do something to get back to a healthy way of eating instead of just doing the hollywood diet. I did great last week with the ww and the hollywood diet but then the buffet killed me. So I don't know what I am going to do. But I do know that I have to get better with my food chart and the amount of food I am eating. This week I have not done good with that. I am going to lose this and I won't give up. Nita, I hope you are having a great time on your vacation. Sorry it was so cold for the class reunion. It is getting real cold here also. It was below freezing here for the last 2 nights. But on thurs and fri it is supposed to get up to 70 again for a couple of days then turn real cold. Winter is setting in slow. Boy do I hate it. You can't even enjoy being outside when it is so cold. Have a great time on the rest of your trip. Sherri |
Tamales
Im afraid I missed club today due to illness.But Im sure I gained this week. Not only did we visit our local chineese buffet, we also made 12 dozen tamales,,,,beef, pork, chicken , and sweet ones.
So tomorrow its back to the ole counting calories, salads and good stuff...:dizzy: This was my first miss in 6 months,but I feel much better tonight and hope to be back in the groove this week. Nice to see the posts and know there are still a bunch of fellow Topseers out there. CBabe |
