Tiffie- I fhave found lean cuisines a life saver when there is nothing else to grab for in the fridge as long as you don't make a habit out of it; it is satisfying and fast.

Hello ladies...
Again, not much going on. Have a busy day ahead with cleaning and such around the house and that's about it. Not going to attempt going to IF until after the holidays. Thank you Jane for the card. HI to everyone! :hohoho: Have a good day! |
Thanks for the encouragement. I was bad last night and totally broke down. Had fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy, and didin't do my workout at all. :( I feel so disappointed with myself, and SICK! Blegh. If I'd known I'd feel like this, I might have just stuck to the taters. Today, I don't feel well. I wish I had eaten better last night, and then I'd feel better today. :T Well, lesson learned.

Hi ladies,
Cristi - you're welcome. Seems like there's too much to do, and time's running out, lol. Well, actually, all I have left to do is some baking. I never did get that done. So tomorrow's the day, since I don't babysit, and don't have anything else major planned. Tiffie - brown rice and veggies makes a nice meal, if you add a little protein. Even an egg would round out the meal. As lovelaughalways said, the frozen diet dinners are ok in a pinch. They're loaded in additives and sodium, and stuff I can't pronounce, but that would be much better than potatoes with gravy, etc. I see where Kashi is making some "healthy" frozen dinners, and I plan to research them soon to see how accurate the claim is. One thing that may help you quite a bit is to plan ahead for each meal and snack. Do this in the evening for the next day, if possible. It's much easier to stick to a plan if you actually have one in place. Hello to everyone else reading this. I had lunch out with friends today, and now Neal and I are babysitting Mary's rugrats. They are so sweet! And very excited about Santa, lol. Mt. Washmore is for sure on my list of things to do tomorrow, and so is the baking! Toodles, chickas! :) |
Hey all,
Just a quickie here. Wanted to pop in and say "Hi" to everybody! I hope your all ready for the holidays because I surely am not! We don't even have our little tree up yet! Just haven't made it over to the storage unit and now its getting so late, we're debating about just skipping putting it up. But I told DH its up to him, yes its the little tree, but he is "Mr. Christmas" so if he wants it, then I figure we can go and get it, but he is thinking on it. I need some motivation to finish up cleaning the bathroom and organizing my linen closet. I do have most of the laundry done! :carrot: I just need to get motivated to finish......... Well back to work, ttyl and Have a Happy Holiday, everybody! :tree: |
Thanks, Jane. There was just literally nothing in the house. :( My fiance and I don't really know where we'll be one day to the next (During the Holidays), so I didn't realise I wouldn't be home last night. But I wish I had made something with the brown rice!! I'd certainly feel better now!
I bet the rugrats are too cute! I love little kids. Can't they just stay that way forever? lol Sassy: I hadn't had a tree since I was 18, but I got one this year, and it cheered me up a bit. However, it IS getting late to set one up. Good luck finding time, in case you still have holiday shopping and baking to do! |
Good evening ladies...I have been here and even tried to post last night, but my computer is so rotten. Grrr... This is my old Win98 one. I told DH I wanted to put a new one on my gift list...hahaha..a little too late.
Nothing crazy happening here right now...we have been going out to eat and gambling a little. Two days I won a little and one day I lost a little. No big jackpot to boast of. Today I made two different fudges for DH..so he is now very happy. LOL. I thought about making another batch and sending to the boys..they would love it. Went to the grocery store and as always I am so appalled at the prices of food out here. Geeze Louise. Don't know how anyone raises a family here. Luckily we don't cook much here...lol. Glad to hear of everyone's preparations for the holiday. We are not doing much, had ours with DD and family in IN so that was most. We are already planning a big deal for next year...right here in LV with all of the kids coming. I hope it works out. DS will be finished with school in Dec. next year if he doesn't take off any more and we can have a party for his graduation. Would be fun! Hi to everyone old and new....I will catch up with individuals soon. |
Hello Darlings!
This is going to be one of those flybys! It will be that way until after the Holiday. Once that day has come and gone, I will be able to relax a bit. Or least that is a goal of mine! Hope all are doing well and keeping themselves stress free. I have been doing the best that I can. Still walking up a storm and eating MUCH better than I have in such a long time. So nice to have a hubby who wants to get healthy too. Although....tonight was out "indulgence" night. We had spaghetti....with garlic bread. Very good. Speaking of still walking.....that is where I'm off to. I need to get my walk in before bed. So you all have a good night and I will chat w/you all next time! |
Even w/the busy holiday schedules we're still managing to talk up a storm!!
Let's close this one and head on over to #225. See you all there! |
