Good Morning Girly Girls!!!

Ugh, kills me to even write my weight anywhere. But hey, I guess I need to keep facing it, eh?

I hope you all had a great halloween and are staying out of the candy! Very strange one here this year, not a whole lot of people out in the streets, nor were there a whole lotta people handing candy out -- lots of dark houses this year. Candy hasn't been too much of an issue for me luckily, however, the craving for holiday type food has been overwhelming! Especially dessert type stuff. Bah!

Kim, yes I am a stay at home mom. I don't follow WW but would love the pumpkin recipe. Anything that is lower fat & calories will help!!! I tried WW a couple years ago but grew too obsessed with the #'s aspect of it so I quit.

Nori, hope you're staying warm. I hope the family gets to feeling better real soon, the stomach stuff is always such a bummer the way it sweeps thru the entire family like it does. Keep taking your supps I hear those work great!

Serena, hi!!! Great to see you back here, I hope vacation was fun for you!

Mo, you were strong last night!!! No cake at a b-day would be a miracle for me. LOL Your scale will repay you grandly for that sacrafice I'm sure. Your soup sounds interesting, let us know if you decide to make it!

Erika, 300 minutes! You can do it!!!

Well, not a whole lot from me today girls. Pretty quiet around here for the most part, now if I could find a way to get rid of my neighbors I'd be thrilled! lol Night before last (halloween) they had people over and were out on their balcony above us til 6:30a.m. I kid you not! And our bedroom window is right near that balcony so we can hear everything. Not to mention they're not the quietest bunch to begin with, so needless to say I got no sleep that night and have just been like the walking dead the last 2 days!

Have a fantastic day ladies! Stay strong and remember those goals!!!

Danielle: you poor thing that was very inconsiderate of them to be outside until that time in the morning. You should get some of that gag stuff that smells like rotten eggs and put it out on your deck below them, maybe it will drive them inside!

Nori: wow, that's cold for November, it seems we have no transition of the seasons lately, it goes right from one to another. Tonight it's supposed to dip into the 30's I think. DH is ordering oil today, it was $2.14 when I called for the price the other day. A lot of people I know locked in at a much higher rate so I guess that's not too bad. We usually burn a lot of wood so that helps keep the fuel bill down but even with that it's outrageous.

Today's my 16th anniversary so I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner. Maybe I'll stop and buy something special and make a nice big salad. We're going to the casino to celebrate Saturday night, I better bank some bonus points!

DD asked if she could get a present because of the anniversary and I said it's ok honey you don't have to get us anything. She said no, I meant do I get a present?? She's a cheeky little devil sometimes!

This is too cute, Mo! LOL I swear, kids will try and figure out any ole way to get a present, huh? Mine always try and use any excuse to ask for one, they get sneakier as they get older too! lol

Happy Anniversary!!!! I hope you and dh have a lovely time at the casinos!

Yeah, the neighbors are not the brightest bulbs and they've really ticked me off for the last time. What's frustrating is that we rent this condo, the people above us own....so we're in constant 2nd party mode in terms of dealing with our landlord and anything ever getting settled regarding this matter. The HOA is useless here as well and relies heavily on the rent-a-cops to "take care" of things. Frustrating!!! But I got 'em good the next morning (yesterday), I vacuumed every square inch of this place, ceilings, walls, everything for 55 minutes! HA! Slammed doors, sliding glass door back and forth the way they do it (it's loud lemme tell ya!) and I set my truck alarm off this morning at 6:30 while their windows were open. heehee Probably not the most mature thing to do, but I figure if I can disrupt some of their sleep the way they do mine ALL THE TIME I can be a little happy. I can't wait to get out of here!!!

Danielle - my mom lives in a condo, and the girl who lives above her decided it'd be a great idea to get an electric piano. So my mom has taken to late night cleaning and slamming, too! She did ask the girl nicely to turn it down first, but she pretty much ignored her. The girl above also went and bought two little yippy dogs who are always carrying on. Condo life is rough. Since we've been married, this is our first stand alone home. We've always lived in base housing and had some horrible neighbors!

Mo - your dd sounds too cute!

Nori - brr! Freezing rain, yuck.

Serena - welcome back!!! At least you got a lot of walking in.

Erika - great goal!!!!

Kim - keep up the great work!

Hope I didn't miss anyone - can't figure out how to read the previous page and this page without losing my message. LOL

Tonight I have tennis - I feel like I burn more calories doing that than any thing else I do. Monday I'm going to try out a "Taerobics" class. I'll let you know how it goes!!

Post Boy am I behind!

Hello ladies! I just had to read up on four pages of friendship. WOW! It is so nice to see and hear from everyone and meet the new people.
Ok My oct. weight stunk, so let's try this again!

Starting weight 192, YES! YES! I have gained most of it back.
Exercise none so far, using too many excuses! I do need a big kick in the butt!!

I drank 80 ounces of H2O on Monday.
70 ounces on Tuesday
100 ounces on Wednesday
50 so far today

I did good and ate the Turkey Burger at Ruby tuesday's on Monday instead of eating a regular burger. It was awesome!!!! I actually got to eat lunch with my husband. One of our few moments alone.

Halloween Candy, what an evil thing!

Mo, I did get the promotion. Still going through paper work. I work for the state, so I get one raise already this month, that is only 3%. Not sure what my raise will be with the promotion. I will take anything right now.

Ok everyone I want everyone to yell at me and help me get motivated. I really do need that kick in the butt!

Well, I am going to go! Hope everyone has a nice night.
LOL, Catherine

Sarah, good for your mom! LOL Yeah, its *ahem* amazing how motivated I get for housecleaning on those days when I've had very little sleep. And of course I can plead innocent because I'm doing it during "normal" hours, not my fault they're all sleeping off hangovers at noon, right? We've been doing apt/condo life for about 4 years so it's taken some getting used to. For awhile there I just thought maybe it was me and that I wasn't cut out for this, but then dh brought up a point that while we've been in this place (going on 3 years in Mar) we had some really great upstairs neighbors and none of my anxiety over this started til these morons moved in! Makes me so mad!!! I hope you had a great time at tennis!!!

Catherine, I won't give you a kick but I'll give ya a It's wonderful to see you here today! I hope that you will find inspiration in the thought that we're all here with you, taking it one day at a time together. Your water is great, keep it going!!! Glad you enjoyed your time with DH, I so do love those times with mine too.

Hey Girls!! I'm finding that getting the minutes in is easier than I thought.

My weight was like 293 - then to 289- then back to 293.. I wasn't so happy about that until this morning I got on the scale and it was 292!

That's a pound back in the right direction!! THat made me sooo happy!!

I think today I've had around 50 ounces of H2O!!!

Can I count my stair time as with my minutes?

And my last question is, does anyone know where there is a minute ticker that you don't have to recreate everytime you need to update?

Default Friday!!!

Hello ladies:

It's good to see everyone posting.
Erika: I'm not real good on tickers, I did one for weight, would the minutes be the same?
Catherine: Great job on the water and eating a turkey burger! I'm having a hard time with my water.
Danielle: two whole days done with for our November Challenge!
Kim: where are you? Did you do your WATP tape last night?
Nori: I hope the girls are feeling better and you're getting your rest.
Serena: Did the kids go trick or treating?
Sarah: wow, tennis, I wish I was that coordinated! Did you have fun?

My BF who I joined the gym with put her back out yesterday so I exercised at home by myself but it wasn't the same. I only did 15 minutes on an old exercise bike and about 15 or so of pilates cardio. When I'm at the gym I push myself more because I don't want to look like a wuss getting off a machine too quickly I guess I'll have to venture to the gym by myself tonight because my friend is still unable to go. This will be a real challenge...a gym by myself on a Friday night!

B: oatmeal = 3
L: smart one = 8
S: biscotti & tea = 3
D: fresh crab meat/butter, slice of bread, few potato slices = 9
Pts: 23 Exercise: 30 min. Water: 40 oz?

Have a great weekend. I'll be using my bonus points+ tomorrow night. I made a reservation at the Todd English restaurant at the casino...that's unless I lose all my money before dinner, then I'll be eating at a hot dog cart!

Mo

LOL! Mo has a BF!! I think I would have figured it out. Don't take you for the doubling up sort! Too busy! I seriously cannot imagine cheating on my DH - but then even if I was tempted, I absolutely don't have the time or energy!

Erika - see, it's heading back down!

Danielle - so sorry about your sleepless night. I cannot sleep with any extra noise - so I have a sound machine in my room. It helps mask TV or street noise. Althought we live on a quiet road, there are still kids that do what kids will do at all hours of the night!

My girls seem to be over the bug. Dh also. I haven't gotten it so far. That'd get my scale moving in the right direction, huh!

Nori - Thanks... I don't understand why, but it seems to be. I'm not changing really anything at all and at the same time getting told that I'm not eating enough! ( check out my fitday if you want to)

Mo - Congrats on keeping yourself going even when there was noone to go with you!!

Catherine - I've never met you but I'm Erika Leigh and Hello!!

Oh well girls, things are going okay here. About to take my break at work and go for a short walk and see what exercise I can squeeze into today!

Hope that things are okay on everyone's homefront!
Wishing you all the best of luck on the weight loss and water drinking!

Default hey

Mo: my kids did not go trick or treating. We knew we were going to be out of town so we let them dress up for my oldests birthday party. I took their costumes with us just incase there was something going on that they could go to but we ended up taking a train ride through the smokeys on halloween and didn't get back until after dark anyway. They were tired.

I've been thinking about joining a gym. I would really like to take martial arts but I'm more likely to get to a gym than find a martial arts studio. Not doing too well with the eating thing right now. I dread weigh in this Tuesday.

Post Sunday Afternoon

Hello ladies, Wel I am sitting here trying to keep warm. It is a very brisk Sunday afternoon. Think I am coming down with a cold also. My DD and I went to the movies today for some girl time. We went to go see Flicka. My DD is ten. She bet me I would tear up before she did. She won the bet, but she teared up too. We really liked the movie. Wish I had more time to spend with her alone. But things here with the FIL still make everything crazy. My mom is giving me a time about it. I am doing my best to deal with it. My counseler is helping. This is a new one, I really like him. He is already helping me to see a lot.

My water intake is still doing pretty good. I haven't counted today. I refill my water bottle at work constantly and I use those lovely single packets. So that I have some flavor. I did exercise some the other day. Not as much as I should have. I did get to climb quite a few flight of stairs on Friday. That took some of the wind out of me. But I survived!! LOL

Erika, thanks for the hello!

Mo, again thanks for watching out for me.

Nori, Hope you stay well.

Serena, How was the trip through the Smokies? I have heard that is a real cool trip.

Danielle, thanks for the support.

To everyone else hope you all have had a great weekend!
