about an hour from tampa

Shopping was an NSV!!! I thought I'd gone from a 12 to an 8, I've been wearing 10's but have taken in the waists--so I thought it was an 8. I went to Talbots and the 8's were huge around the waist! I tried on a 6 and it fit like it was made for me!!! Even when I was 128 pounds, 6's didn't fit me. Anyway, they didn't have these dress jeans in my size, so they had to have them sent to me. I hate not being able to try them on first, but I can always return them. I swear, the waist on the 8's was almost 2" too big, but the rest fit decent. I don't like buying and then having to alter, so let's hope those 6's turn out to be a good fit like the other pants I tried but didn't buy!

Vogue-My DD goes to USF in Tampa. We are 2 hrs south of Tampa.

I am not feeling too well today, but I'm going out for my bike ride. I have a cold on top of my stomach problems. Have to get my ride in though!

Thast good, Me and a guy I like chris are going to meet for some tennis today which is going to be so much fun. I love tennis, even if I suck I could play for hours.

I'm sorry I haven't been around, but things have been a little hectic here this weekend. Yesterday started off with the kids quilting class that I help with, then I spent the rest of the afternoon cutting grass for Tim's aunt. Last night Tim and I went out to dinner and did some shopping at the mall. This morning I'm going to cut our grass and, this afternoon we have a picnic to go to, then this evening we have to deliver birthday presents to our granddaughter...she's 6 going on 16 today! ;)

I had a little "break down" Friday night. Travis got his deployment date...he leaves this Friday for Iraq. I guess in the back of my mind somewhere I had been holding out a tiny bit of hope that something would happen and he wouldn't have to go back and then when he told us the date had been set it made it "real". I am feeling better now. A good cry does help sometimes, but keeping busy is what does me the most good, so I'm going to keep myself as busy as possible the next couple of weeks.

Sounds like most everyone has been doing really well this week! Keep it up!

Suzy-You can come and cut my grass anytime you feel sad! I can't even compare Becky leaving this morning going back to school only 2 hrs away from me. I was sad about that, I can't imagine going to Iraq. My prayers are with you and yours, as always.

Shelley ~ That's how I try to look at it when I start feeling sorry for myself...there is always someone is worse off than me. I'm actually very fortunate. My son is happy, healthy and will be coming home in 6 or 7 months. Our next door neighbor lost her 18 year old son 6 years ago...that's a pain that I can't imagine and one that I hope and pray none of us ever have to experience.

Suzy Prayers are being sent out to you and Travis. I am the same way, when I feel my situation is bad here I look at someone elses situation and am thankful for my blessings.

It has been a rainny weekend. We sure needed the rain but I don't like dreary. days.
It has been the second hottest summer on record. I just loved it. We are still enjoying the pool house. I know the days are numbered so I appreciate it even more.
