Mornin' lovlies!

I got the message from Arabella and where ever ye shall go, I shall follow. Just leave a trail of granola for me to track you by!

Sorry for my being MIA lately. Work has been extremely busy and I've also had a trip to San Diego and a houseboat trip to Shasta in the last 3 weeks. But that's the last of the busy bee me. I'm looking forward now to snuggling down for the fall and winter seasons. Candles are lit, crochet projects are set. Weight, hasn't much changed for the last few months. But that's still progress in my eyes. But the challenge has been issued! I heard the bugle call and am running to get into formation!

Til later

I've been having difficulties getting on here [am on library computer now] and I've missed you all like crazy! I posted to Arabella that the prospect of seeing the Queens at the alternate palace gives me shivers of happiness!!!

wsw 10-16-2006 08:37 PM

thanks to arabella for the alternate site info! so good to see punkin and eydie! chilly here again tonight. was out most of day at doc appts, medical tests. i sure can think of better ways to spend my time. ah well. the nurses and docs were very nice, though, and of course, that certainly does make a big difference. well, need to get to bed 'cause i am sooooo tired. interesting to me that when i got home, i thought i should get to eat more because of my long, not so fun day. i didn't give in, but sure wanted to. well, take care all. nitey-nite.

ceara 10-17-2006 07:20 AM

ACK! It is pissing down rain again! Good for the bulbs, not so good for walking!

Still on the wagon....am playing with the diet tracker in the land far away...is rather time consuming....will try a new attack today since I don't eat their suggested stuff and end up doing a lot of substitutions.

Anyway, I have Toddlertime this am and quartet rehearsal, so I must be off!

 Nice to see you are doin' OK wsw!

ceara 10-17-2006 07:33 AM

Hmmmm, I am having the Empress' and Eydies' problems, only on the other site...can't get in this am....

Oh well, off I go!

Arabella 10-17-2006 08:40 AM

Good morning, Queenlies!

Well, drat! If some of us have difficulty getting into yonder realm, then there is little point in moving the court. Mayhaps we can maintain dual palaces and make the trip back and forth by times. At least we can resume our correspondance with those :queen:s dwelling there.

Choir practice was a little better last night; I was more able to sing along. The voice lessons couldn't have happened at a better time so I'll be able to practice effectively for the concert.

WI yesterday has me .4 off of the 20 pound mark at WW and 2 pounds off 30 total since January. 'Twould have been better were it more, but ... still, 'tis a goodly chunk of fluff and gone, gone, gone.

Eydie, shall hie self to yonder realm to see thy message! Then must get royal butt off for a woggle through the woods and non-negotiable yoga...

Love to all and AVANTI!!!

Raining here too, Ceara - all the livelong day. I too was having problems in the land of our friends. Will try again and see how it goes but each step seemed to take forever.

Those days tire me out, wsw, and sometimes food seems like it will take care of me when only sleep really will. I did get enough sleep last night because I (for a change) wisely turned in early . Going to do that again tonight.

I've been better on diet and exercise lately. Not good, just better. Right now, for me, it's all about not giving up.

Love that your voice lessons are going well, Arabella. Princess Ten is also taking voice lessons and has been selected for a nice little opportunity in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, it brightens my heart and adds another event to my calendar.

That is a nice chunk off, WN and that silly .4 will go soon. I weighed today and couldn't believe the scale (in a good way) but then I realized some parameters were missing and while I liked the reading, I will try that again tomorrow in my normal pattern. Won't be as cheerful a reading, I'm sure, but a more honest one. I go to dr. again in about two weeks so maybe that will be great motivation.

And just found the message from Punkin. How great! Howdy - and at your fave time of year too.

ceara 10-17-2006 10:06 PM

Good to see you here Anagram...hope you start to find your zip....you sound kinda resigned? Good news on the exercise and diet...does that mean the scale is moving in its' proper direction?

Arabella 10-18-2006 07:46 AM

Good morning, Queenlies!

I've been settling into the alt. Palace a little but won't move if other Royals have difficulty getting in -- that would just be silly! I like a lot about the site, not everything but lots. I like the automatic tracking of multiple components of a fitness program. And I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what's available there.

Have been to gym and done yoga/meditation as well. I'll try to squeeze in another meditation through the day. I've got a voice lesson this aft. and will take along one of the more challenging pieces for the concert to work on. It will be great to get the help!

I've been a little tired and vaguely illish the last couple of days. That's about the most dangerous combination for me, but I've managed not to self-medicate with food. Gold star, please! The singing gives me a new obsession, which is most healthful and makes it very difficult to stuff items in mouth -- unlike, say, reading or watching TV which go so nicely with munching.

Anagram, congrats on the happy tale of the scale! I don't care what the parameters were -- I'd count that one as valid. You were so wise to go to bed early -- how often do I ignore the fatigue and drag myself through, only to end up having to drag self through the next day too. Sometimes going to bed early is the only way to get in a decent night's sleep.

Ceara, do you play piano in a quartet? I seem to recall that you were coaching singers? Do tell, Dovey!

Oh, it is nice to see our :queen: Punkinseed again, isn't it. :goodvibes:

Let's take this day and make it serve our health and wholeness!

ceara 10-19-2006 07:39 AM

One more  released into the stratosphere! Will need to change my siggy by the week-end!

Have been really busy this week....Book Club was good last night...I have new choices to take on. And tonight I have a programme which I need to finish prepping for. But first, brekki and walk!

Have a great day :queen: s!

ceara 10-19-2006 07:41 AM

Oh, no Arabella, I coach a barbershop quartet...it is really quite fun 'cause the guys are really nice....and the lead is my son. He is learning a lot of older music I must say. The other guys are all retired. They joke that DS brings their mean average age down a couple of decades!

Arabella 10-19-2006 12:22 PM

Hello My Lovelies!

 :queen:ies! All well here. Had DGS overnight and until noon so haven't gotten exercise in yet but I will either walk or woggle and will do yoga  It is imperative! (as my sisters and I used to like to say about this that and the other thing, parrotting one of our teachers :) )

Voice lesson went very well yesterday. The teacher sang all four of the concert pieces for me, which are on my practice tape now so I can practice, practice, practice. And she's very encouraging about my potential and the quality of my voice, which is pretty exciting. I feel like I've got a nice new dimension to life!

Ceara, congrats on release of the fluffy!!! :encore: The barbershop quartet coaching sounds like a lot of fun :)

The following message is forwarded from Amarantha:

To all who also frequent that branch o' the royal palace o'er yonder wherein ruleth three goodly sisters, a favor from Amarantha rolleth out (I don't know what that 'rolleth out' means, but ...) wouldst thou say hello to goodly queens 'n towel boys who be there as Am hath tried this day to hop on o'er on her goodly Hago broomstick just specifically to say a hi-ho good folkettes but could not get on at all ... got about seven tribal fusion poppies that never opened and wouldn't close and made a mess o' Am's imperial 'puter 'n got a blank screen that seemed to be related to a thread wherein queens probably dwelled but it was half buried behind the really big popup that said tribal fusion but was blank ... also the purported queen thread was blank back there also and NEITHER could be closed for some time. But I'd really appreciate anyone over there to know I said hi ... if anyone would be so goodly as to pass that along ... huzzah!

Toodles!

Kaylets 10-20-2006 05:41 AM

hELLO ALL!!

Congrats on loss success....

I am tryihg to climb back up on the wagon AGAIN....

I guess its really true.... at least for me...

I continue to remain that 8 year old in so many respects....

Anyway....

HAPPY FRIDAY!!:D

ceara 10-20-2006 07:18 AM

Friday! Yeah! I get to go to the dentist :( (Then late brekkie :) ) Things are going well...the week from H*** is done, and I survived it.....again. Just a lot of extra stuff that I felt unprepped for. Now I need to check and see what I'm doing next week.

It is pouring here at the moment....put 2 of the girls outside, they were in an all-fire hurry until they hit the deck, sensed the rain, and turned around just as I closed the door and mushed their faces against it like "Hey! Can't you see it is raining out here?". They are in their crates, drying a bit.

Have discovered thanks to tracking in the other land that I walk a 17 minute mile, and that I likely eat too few calories per day. I suppose that I could put a glass of wine daily on there...that would be 120 cal for 6 oz...I seem to be happy eating at 980 - 1200 and that is starvation mode they say. However, I find wine is like ruffles....you have trouble stopping at one, and then the munchies set in. Beware! So obviously the land far away is also stretching my higher math functions....I'm counting, calculating, measuring, recording and converting km to miles. I do hate counting calories!

I must be off and clean my teeth....before I get them cleaned! That is like vacuuming before the cleaning lady comes!

I have a QOD....are you a sipper or a glugger? I'm the latter. Does this matter? I :dunno:
